Olan's thoughts for this strip:
I have to give props where they are due. The main idea for this script came from my wife, who by her own admission, does not "get" the comic. Still, I thought the dirty Santa plot was a great idea.

Originally, I had intended to put a gamer twist on Steve's gift, and have the fuzzy dice be D10s, but apparently, my communication skills are lacking (I know that must really shock some of you).

Anyway, enjoy our Christmas strip, and please forgive the lateness of the update... the holidays are kicking my butt in a big way.

A belated Merry Christmas to you all!

Script for this strip:
Steve: "Okay, kill your eggnog - it's time for dirty Santa!"

Tim: "So... we draw numbers to see who goes first?"

Ray: "We're gamers - we roll a D20."

Steve: "Crap, a one. I go first."

Rich: "Those are... interesting."

Brad: "Are you kidding? They are terrible!"

Steve: "They are... WONDERFUL!"

Amy: "It would be kind of cool to hang them on your rearview mirror. You know, to be ironic?"

Ray: "Yeah, it would. Since it's my turn, I think that I'll just..."
Steve (interrupting): "Before you finish that sentence, remember who determines which character all of the monsters attack, and which areas of the dungeon floor trigger deadfall traps."

Steve: "Not that I'm telling you what to do, of course. But this *is* D&D... awful, debilitating curses and terrible, acid-soaked luck happen."

Brad: "Dude, he can't do that! If you want to steal them from him you can - this is dirty Santa!"
Ray: "Maybe so... but consider the wisdom of Han Solo. Sometimes, it's best to just let the wookie win."
