I love this place, we take everything in stride and nothing can knock us out. We continue to see new members, and the forums are coming to life again already. I am eager to start Slate game, and to hopefully spend many nights in DragonChat as we did before. I do have issues with the chat but I will get over it

Subject: Coming Home
Many suns have set, and many moons risen in a beautiful circle since I have been home. I have spent many months swamped with real life issues, but now I think, with the help of my boyfriend, that I can finally juggle what is currently on my plate, and that includes coming back to my family.
I am eager to get back into the swing of things here, and knowing I am a lousy DM I am hoping my fellow inmates will run a new game, or invites to old games so that I can start getting into the routine of posting again. I know I have inspiration to write some good stuff now that life is finally working out for me. I have truly missed all of you and cannot wait to get back into gaming, and creative writing for you all.

Life has been hectic for me the last little while. Still trying to get into a better routine, but I think coming back here and writing with my family will definitely help me get into the groove of life again. I posted on my facebook to try and encourage some friends to join up, and I will try to stay active. I have a lot on my plate, but really really miss gaming.

Firestorm
My heart has been set ablaze
Pumping flames through my veins
Smoke is hidden deep within
I’m on fire from the inside out.
I’m cool and collected on the outside,
Graceful and smiling at the world around me
Yet inside I’m screaming from the heat
It’s burning deep into my soul.
Making a mark that will never fade.
The pain subsides suddenly,
I wonder if it will return
It never does, I’ve adapted
To the fire within my soul,
Burning so intensely
It has opened my eyes to a new world.

Today's my long day at school 8am until 3pm...so I'll read up on it tonight and try to figure out a great post.

I would have time to post at least once a week. Mondays and Thursdays I don't have class til noon or later, and I have to have my daughter dropped off at daycare before 10am...so I can post Mondays/Thursdays for sure, and possibly weekend sometime.
I could play Rayne if she has not been spoken for as of yet. I've got two hours today (10am until noon) to read some of the posts and then after class I can stick around a short while and get a post up, or post tomorrow morning. Though more likely to get the post in tonight as I have a test tomorrow, so going to be spending most of the morning studying for the test. Friday I have another test, but that one I don't need to study for...it's the easiest of my classes (accounting).
I'll start reading what's been happening and see about getting a post up today sometime. Though I'll wait to ensure Rayne is available before posting lol

Thoughts race through my mind,
Feelings swim through my veins,
Doubts surface deep within,
As my body struggles for answers.
Does he think of me,
When he goes to sleep?
When he wakes up in the morning?
When he is happy and sad?
Does he realize what he means to me?
That his smile melts down the walls of my heart,
That his voice causes butterflies to flutter,
That his happiness is my mission?
Does he know that he holds my heart?
That every feeling he has, I share?
That my heart beats faster when we talk?
That I'd do anything for his happiness?
Does he notice that I even exist?
That he's the reason for my motivation?
That he's the reason I smile every day?
That he's my dream come true?
I hope one day he will see me,

I had the best Canada Day Ever this year! My grand father came down a few days earlier and we celebrated Saturday, Sunday and Monday for both Canada Day, and his 89th Birthday! Yesterday was a day to relax and try to get my daughter back on a schedule, didn't work well at all...I'm more tired now than when I went to bed last night.
Happy Belated Canada Day everyone. I shared mine with my entire family! My mom, my dad, my brother, my daughter, my grand father, his wife, and lots of aunts and uncles and cousins. I had such a great one this year....next year an even bigger party since it will be his 90th birthday (if they come down next year)

I can't honestly say I have silence or music. I kind of drift off into my own fantasy world, as if it were a movie playing in my head. I have to see what I'm writing or it just doesn't flow for me. I'm a very visual person, so I have music playing in the background and have my daughter muttering noises or whatever you call it lol. I usually am focused on what I write to the extend I drown out all the music and don't even realize if it stops playing.
