I'll be able to post tonight, but I'm not making any promises. Depends on if my dad has to go out on a trip or not. If not we'll be heading to the island for the night. So anyways, I'm going for a nap, then out to a bbq with my "sis" and then not sure.

Subject: An unexpected arrival...

“Croaker asked me to give this to you,” Peacekeeper grabbed the weapon from the barrel and quickly grabbed hold of the back her finger quickly sitting on the trigger, but she didn't aim it to the man as she would have liked. He hadn't caused her any danger thus far, in fact, he had actually helped her by providing her with another weapon in which to fight the enemies off. Hissingly she spoke "They shouldn't worry. I can manage" she winced slightly as she had stopped to talk to him, but continued to make her descent following his lead.

The burning from her prior wound was no longer affecting her for she had grown used to the occasional deep stinging. The sound of raucous, and instantly she aimed her weapon as she crept around the corner and biting her lip she peered inside the window to notice 10 of the Wild Things coming their way quickly. Shaking her head she cursed in a whisper to herself while completely forgetting that Guardian was in fact on her side. Right now all she could see was that she would have to get past this window without getting another bullet into her. She had a job to take up this end of the area, and she wasn't about to fail her job. Her life as a bounty hunter was too dear to her that she wouldn't let her personal problems interfere with her mission. Taking aim with the new weapon she was given she took a few seconds to aim and shoot at a couple as she swiftly ran past the window that was now shattered from bullet holes.

It was in that moment she heard Croaker's voice. Her eyes found him only moments before the window completely shattered as the grenade was shot in, and she quickly leaped down and ducked for cover but keeping herself alert and ready to attack. She just hoped she was far enough away from the grenade that she wouldn't feel it's effects. She wondered how well the stairs would hold their weight after the grenade exploded.

She also took notice of Spiff running off and she cursed herself more, thoughts racing through her mind in regards to Guardian's sudden change in priorities. She couldn't decide if he was helping them only to kill them later, or if maybe he realized things could work if they worked together. Shaking her head free of thoughts she braced herself for the explosion. Her breathing long deep breathes as she occasionally glanced down towards Croaker, but kept alert for danger. It was hard to act with Frank on top of her, to keep her from the explosion, but it was a great thing that she was a bounty hunter for the weight of the man didn't bother her, but made her red in the face. She wasn't used to having any man near her while she worked, let alone a man to whom if she could, she would have put a bullet through his head, but something told her to keep her bullets for the enemies.

Subject: A sincere apology...

Hey guys...thanks for being so patient with me...I didn't sleep a week all weekend...just got home for the first time since friday evening...I've been right busy packing for my move to Toronto which'll take place sometime this week, no for sure date yet though.

Back to the weekend...so I didn't sleep at all. First night I had too much on my mind about the move and didn't really get comfortable since I had to sleep on hardwood floor...then saturday night I didn't sleep because i was busy keeping somebody alive. My friend, who's moving up with me to Toronto, had a going away party on saturday night, and well one of her friends got so drunk that they got alcohol poisoning. Me being like a sister to my friend who threw the party decided to pull another all nighter and stayed up with him. Making sure if he fell asleep he didn't start puking...that would have sucked. We couldn't bring him to the hospital cause he was only 18, and didn't need to be sued. So I stayed up all night freezing my butt off outside to keep this guy alive, and it was the first time I met him was at the party. Not fun at all...having to watch him throw up and it was terrible. We were both freezing, but he had like 2 and a half blankets on him, since he was so cold, I put half my blanket on him, and kept half for myself. It was such a long night. Poor guy was freezing, but he eventually fell asleep, then felt better after like an hour or two sleep, then was all hyper but still buzzing...it was interesting to say the least. But yeah, so that's why I haven't posted. I've been busy getting ready for the move, and losing sleep helping people, and yeah, so I'm catching up on my sleep today, and have to help dad move apartments.

Please don't kill me if I don't post before you post though. I just have so much going on right now...my dad thinks I'm dating my boss because I'm spending a lot of time with him. I'm busy trying to keep the house organized and clean until I move, but found out today that we're moving half of our stuff to the other apartment today...gah...it's just hectic...so please be patient with me...I'll post as soon as I can use my brain again...it hurts to think.

Subject: Odds against them.

Peacekeeper had stopped her descent on the stairs, between the fifth and sixth story, her weapon aimed through the many layers of grating at the head and shoulders of the man holding Croaker at gunpoint. Problem was that there were so many layers of steel between them, even corrugated, the chances of her round finding its mark were less than a Zero being made president. Now she had the troublesome threat of heavily armed gangers rushing their back as well.

The odds were against them as she trailed behind Spiff. Shaking her head she looked above her and decided it would be best to not start firing, not until she had better odds at hitting her targets. Peacekeeper hated the fact that Croaker was at guns point, but she couldn't do anything about it. Instead she started running closer to Spiff and Firewind. Occasionally she'd look behind her and above her to see how close the gangers were to them. A sudden deep pain rushed through her leg like electricity through wires. She stumbled quickly, but her reactions were quicker as she grabbed hold of the banister of the stairs as she made her descent. Her leg having given out on her suddenly for a moment, but she caught herself and decided to slow down her pace.

I'll be working on making a nice post today. I don't have any plans on heading over to the boat today, so I should have just about all day. As long as my computer doesn't act up as it has been. I think we need to get it fixed. I need to reply today, because tomorrow I'm probably not going to be home until late.

Subject: Playing with fire?

Peacekeeper did everything in her power to ignore the flickers of pain when she allowed too much pressure to rise into her thigh. Carefully she would glance over her shoulder until her companions were safely out of the office window and making their descent known to those below. Shaking her head at this she took one last look at the office door before climbing out of the window in a manner known to all assassins; silently and gracefully despite the rainy conditions.

Every so often Peacekeeper would stop to glance towards her companions who were ahead of her, to ensure they were safe, then back up towards the office window. Her weapon always at the ready, even as she climbed down the fire escape. Spiff seemed to be negotiating with a few people who's voices were washed away by the sound of the rain and of the winds. Firewind managed to keep the girl safe and Peacekeeper quickly found her footing. Her eyes had locked upon Guardian and quickly her eyes narrowed at the sight before her eyes. The woman knew that if she wanted, she could take him out without harming Croaker. Peacekeeper's occulis darted towards Guardian and she readied her gun to shoot, aiming it between the railings of the fire escape, she held her breath. Silently contemplating if she could risk it or not. If she didn't kill him first shot and instantly, she could lose Croaker. If she disarmed him, would he have another weapon nearby? She stood still glancing up occasionally before looking back towards Croaker, who seemed to be playing it cool, and guardian who had now turned this situation personal.

I'm going to go in and read, hopefully find some time to post today, but highly doubt it. Since my dad threw out his back, I've had to go EVERYWHERE with him. It's too hard for him to get in and out of the car, so i have to go buy his beer, and do his banking and all of that bull crap. It's insane, I'm used to spending all day on the computer, even though we just put out boat in the water, but yeah, back to talking about the game

So Tann, what ya think hun? I'm thinking that your last paragraph confused me the first time I read it. I was like "what about who, doing what now?" it was really confusing, but If you wanna know why you'll have to be online and message me

I really hope you start feeling better. I'll read all the posts when I get home today. It'll be the only chance for me to be able to post, unless things hold up as they have, and tomorrow I'll also be coming straight home after school, but I know for a fact that I won't be here thursday or friday until really late if at all. I think I'll be too exhausted to actually come online since I'm setting up a huge stage outside for bands. And the next day I'm setting up and installing the audio parts. All the mixers and stuff. There's only going to be about 10 of us that are helping to build the stage itself. I have a test today I think, I don't know what on...but yeah, I should do my homework this morning before class starts. Grab all my homework for the week, hand it all in on friday.

I've not even heard of that one. I did however hear that 28 weeks later was a very gory movie. I want to see it now, but I also want to see the invisible, and pirates, and spiderman 3. I rarely go out to the movies these days, which is the downfall of not having a job no money to get yourself into the movies. but meh, I saw shrek 3, it was hilarious. I loved it. Pinocchio going and confusing everyone, it made me laugh so much, because he wasn't lying, but he wasn't telling the truth either, so his nose didn't grow it was funnier than ever. I knew Fiona would be preggy though, so I wasn't surprised.

Spiff had thrown her the phone and she caught it easily in her left hand as she listened to his words carefully. She glanced down the hall and wondered what spiff had up his sleeve as she turned the knob and locked the door. Peacekeeper moved soundlessly to a corner and tried to remember Croaker's cell that he had for the night. Frowning she growled "“I got nothin’,I got frackin’ nothin’! Croaker doesn’t normally carry a cell, and the one he’s got on him isn’t his. I don’t know the number.”

Annoyed with herself for not having memorized the number to reach Croaker, she shook her head and readied her gun as she approached the office. Cautiously she crept towards the office her gun raised and ready for any surprises as the men pushed the couch against the door. Peacekeeper allowed her mind to run through all the numbers she could, while ignoring the wound to her thigh as she moved as gracefully as a cat. Soundlessly she watched as the darkness was washed away enough to see to the window and after scanning the room quickly but carefully she called over her shoulder "it looks good".

As they moved into the office, she could hear sounds in the distance, and she turned to Spiff as he spoke anew. Carefully she listened and keeping her gun ready she nodded "You got it" she spoke confidently her weapon loaded and aimed towards the designated spot. Calmly she covered her friends her aim rarely missed, no matter how much pain she was enduring, she could keep focused on the task at hand. The blood was beginning to seep through the fabric she'd wrapped around it, and she had too much to do, to fix it now. Peacekeeper continued running numbers in the back of her head as she kept concentrated on her mission "Go for it. I'll watch your back." through her words none would know she was in the least bit of pain, let alone the pain she suffered from the wound in her thigh. The woman's breathing remained calm and her gaze cool as she watched the door with battle hungry eyes. Fear was never found in the eyes of this gunner, and calmly she waited occasionally glancing over her shoulder towards her companions, to ensure their safety.

Cautiously she eyed the man who'd risen from his seat and she licked her lips softly to moisten them. Listening calmly as the words had left his lips floating in the air only to die within her mind. Contemplating his words she smirked slightly to herself "Very well, it's assumed that I'll continue the tale. I thank thee kindly for the inspiration M'Lord." she fell silent and crossing her legs she leaned back lost in time and thought as she tapped her pen on the table softly.

Temptation

A lurking desire flashes within me,
As I stand in the halls talking to a friend.
The friend is not alone, another is present;
Somebody that’s caught my attention.

His golden skin catching my eyes;
His indifference snagging my curiosity;
His eyes seeking deep into my soul;
He’s the biggest temptation in my life.

Watching and being watched in turn,
Helps me to feel that I’m loved,
However my mind stirs restlessly
As temptation grows strong every day.

I sit here debating the pros and cons,
To be loyal to my man; or unfaithful.
The list is close but I notice something,
Something extremely important to me.

I’m flooded with love for my man,
He’s made me realize how wonderful it is,
To love and be loved in return.
To be so completely in love, nothing is worth losing it.

My heart beats for the love of my life,
And is full to its limits with devotion,
Which leaves no room to let temptation win
I’ll remain faithful and untouched for my love

The sweet musk of his cologne
Clings restlessly to my clothes.
Always devoting hours on the phone
With his scent staining my senses like noone knows.

Sparks that danced in her icy eyes,
Moments before the touch of his lips,
Creating burning desires and unmatchable highs
And feeling his hands planted on her hips.

The soothing sound of his unique vocals
That erupts within me, a burning desire,
Noticeable by the actions displayed before locals,
In the dense smoke of a hungry fire.

Washing away my pains
And mending my shattered heart.
He's helped me pick up the pieces
And has become my life's miracle.

Subject: A Serpents Tale...

The red sun rose in the east as the winds whispered from the south. The sky was a blanket of blue with the exception of red and pink; which coloured the sky in the east. The oaks and willows of the forest blew gently as the swift wind raced through the trees, and dying completely before reaching the heart of the bush.

The birds chirped merrily as a cold night gave way to the promise of a beautiful spring day. The cool air was refreshing since the heat of the previous day’s sun had proven to be a wasted day. A golden haired, bear of a man, lay peacefully sleeping beneath the protection of a weeping willow. The man woke abruptly to the sound of a branch breaking from the tree above. Lying on his back, the young man’s bloodshot emerald eyes opened quickly, barely in time for him to roll out of the way of the falling objects. Instinctively, he reached for his prized dagger. To his surprise, the creature was nothing more than a malnourished raccoon. The dagger in hand, he rose clumsily and painfully from where he had stopped rolling. Josh clawed towards the helpless animal. He had hoped the raccoon would run away and scare any other animals lurking about in search of easy prey.

The man was hard to ignore because he was six-foot-five-inches tall and with a very handsome face, to make this man both intimidating to men, and intriguing to women.

The sound of hooves upon solid earth rang loudly through the forest. His eyes flicker about the trails, until he noticed a coal colored colt rushing in his direction. The raccoon heard the horse and quickly disappeared up the nearest tree. It was then he realized that his sweaty hand still grasped the dagger and he carefully sheathed his weapon in its scabbard.

Josh stood in disbelief as the horse stopped in front of him. If he had any hope of being saved, it was thrown away at the familiar sight of his colt. His leg gave way to his weight as he fell against the powerful frame of his faithful companion. Josh’s free hand moved to his left leg, which had been injured approximately nine days ago.

“Smoke! What are you doing here!? You were supposed to go home and get Thomas! To let him know I’m alive!” his voice boomed through the dense forest.

The sound of thunder roaring through the prison of oak and willow brought confusion to the thin face of the hungry man. The part of sky visible to the man was light blue; so Josh decided an army of horses must have caused the sound of thunder. The riders wore shining armor and rode with elegance. The leader wore a full helm and rode on the back of a young paint. Upon seeing the man, the leader had halted the followers and removed the helmet slowly. Long whitish blonde shimmering hair fell over her shoulders and down to her lower back, her eyes a darker green than those of the dying man before her. The flawless mask of serenity covered her features from the emotions she felt in finding her older brother so helpless.

Sharlina sat upon the saddle as if she has always been there. Josh leaned against smoke for support, stunned to find his younger sister coming to his rescue when she was not supposed to be home for another two weeks. Remaining by his colt, he listened to his sister’s words though still visually shocked by her presence. Her voice was soft and teasing as she grinned:

- Do you always yell at your horse Josh? Or are you suffering from delusions from lack of nourishment?
- Shimmer! What are you doing in Zandof when you were supposed to be visiting our beloved cousins in Zion? Besides, how in the name of Heaven and Earth did you find me here? In the middle of the forest!?

It was obvious that Josh was not in a mood to joke, which his sister had obviously noticed. Her grin had vanished as she replied to her brother.

-The reason I’m here is because of that colt of yours. Well and the note you’d sent him with. Besides aren’t you glad to see me?

Sharlina’s grin had returned as she began to tease her brother in a loving manner. Josh shook his head and smiled.

- Of course I missed you Shimmer, you may be my sister, but I consider you a daughter to me. After all, I did raise you. But why were you at the castle?
- Are you alright to stay in the saddle?

Josh knew that Sharlina was hiding something. He eyes her carefully as he shook her head with a deep sigh released. Sharlina watched her brother as he laughed replying quickly.

-Had I been able to ride, do you think I’d have sent Smoke to find help? I’d have ridden if I didn’t break my ankle. I just hurt it even more just before you showed up.

Josh had injured himself on a trip to scout the terrain which they wished to add to the realm of Zandof. His older brother was King when he left, and he hadn’t been back home in almost two weeks. Josh had gotten worried and after falling off Smoke he broke his ankle landing the wrong way. He had not moved again until just before his sister’s arrival.

-Then it’s a good thing I asked the guards to bring a horse wagon with us.

The guards moved to Josh’s side and carried him onto the wooden wagon, which was filled with straw to offer comfort. With a groan of pain, he lay in the wagon as Smoke was tied to a lead and followed the rest of the horses.

Sharlina watched as her brother was loaded into the wagon, before replacing her full helm. Though a pair of guards directed their mounts to the front of the pack. Sharlina rode beside the horse-drawn wagon to ensure her brother’s safety. The castle guards protected the young royalty. Josh turned to meet his sister’s gaze, as he noticed pain and sorrow in her deep green eyes. He sat in thought for the entire trip back to the castle, knowing whatever caused her pain would not be revealed until their arrival.

The horns of Zandof sounded loudly as the search party returned in sight of the castle. The gates opened only moments before the guards reached their boundaries. The streets seemed flooded with people of the kingdom, wishing to show respect and fill their curiosity. A look of concern filled the faces of many bystanders as they watched the prince lay helplessly in the wagon. Sharlina removed her helmet as they passed through the main streets of their town.

The sun was high in the sky as they reached the royal stables. The footman helped Sharlnia from her horse and quickly moved her mount into its proper stall. The guards moved Josh from the cart in to the castle. His thoughts were racing as his sister entered his Royal Chambers.

Sharlina dismissed the guards and quickly Josh questioned his sister; “You never answered my question Shimmer. Why did you return to Zandof with such haste?”

She looked at Josh carefully before she realized that she had not thought up and excuse. Josh eyes her carefully as she replied: “Josh, I’m so sorry, I didn’t tell you as soon as I saw you. Thomas passed away a few days after you left. I’m so sorry.” She cried softly. Sharlina covered her face with her cold hands as she sobbed gently. Josh studied his sibling’s actions, carefully noticing how much his sister had changed.

Josh laughed: “You’re lying to me Sharlina! Thomas didn’t pass away, you murdered him. You are not my sister. What did you do with her!?” his voice booming loudly but he knew he would not get the help from the guards. He was rather helpless, the only thing he had was his dagger. Carefully he eyed the woman in the room.

Sharlina’s laugh was different from earlier and she could not help but reveal who she was. Her eyes turned red as she spoke “You’re right…how did you know? You are my next victim. If I can kill you, than the throne will be mine! You beloved sister is locked up in Zion, never to be seen again. Let’s not mention how I killed your brother without anybody else knowing it was murder. Everyone thinks he died in his sleep. After all, the only reason he got sick was because of me” she had a laugh that he could not quite pin a face to.

Josh shook his head and wondered if he would be able to avenge his brother’s death. The woman quickly swept across the floor and had her icy cold hands round his throat as he struggled to catch his breath. For a woman she had a strong grip, and it was then it struck him who this was. It was one of their servants in the stalls. Somebody who had access to each of them. As he started to turn blue from lack of oxygen, the guards burst through the door and pinned her to the wall. Josh drew in quick but deep breathes to fill his hungry lungs.

-I want you guys to put her in the dungeons under constant supervision. I’d like to be briefed about everything that’s happened in my absence. Commander, take a group of your best men out to Zion with great haste. I wish to find my sister still alive. Let’s not waste time. I’ll be briefed when my sister is back safely in my watch.

-You can’t do this to me. My plan was flawless! I walked through it so many times and I couldn’t find any flaws. It’s just not right… I mean I…

- You can never find flaws in your own work. A lesson learned, not that it will benefit you much…
