With out actually knowing you or your aunt and uncle, I would have to say that in my opinion the second one is a lot better. For starters it flows better when read. I also seems less cliche and more from your heart. I think that it would be a perfect gift for the occasion.

Hey,
As I have stated in another thread I have been gone form the in for awhile, Sailing the seven seas fighting blood thirsty pirates and all sorts of adventures. Now that I am back however I am ready to get my hands on some dice and my thoughts into a character. If any one has an opening in 3erd edition or a 3.5 edition D&D game or a Vampire the Requiem game let me know and I will gladly fill that spot.

Hey all i'm back and i have been gone for way to long. I have been busy sailing the fearsome seas up at the top of the world fighting the blood thirsty pirates at the bottom of the world. When i wasn't busy doing that i was busy making myself a family. Now that i am back i don't think i will be leaving again for quite some time.

Yup im back after an exteded absence. Well it wasnt really that long, only about 6 months, still it felt like an eternity. However i will still not be able to check in on a regular basis, sadly.

miss prickit thinks for a second and says

little janie speaks up again and says

Riddle quickly knocks another arrow. " Well this might just work out too." He fires another shot while retreating further down the hallway he was in this time aming for the uninjured one. Moving quickly he studdies the terain for anything he could use to lay ambush. He did still have one advantage. They didnt know for sure how many of him there were or would surly not expect him to lay in ambush some were along the route, they would expect him to blindly run like last time, which is what he fully intended to do . Lay in wait and kill the two following him. Once done with those he would move to another of the opening and fire off arrows as quickly as he could, after laying traps down behind him that he could avoid and allowing him self to even the odds. " huh if you cant sneak past, fight past."

Riddle quickly studies the room with a quite and deliberate attention looking for some way to get past the gaurds. As he studies the room he notices a few things that might help him. The first thing he noted was the Stalactites around the room. the second thing being the dimming of light in the farthest corner. He scans the ground at his feet looking for some form of rock. Not finding one he opts to use his dagger. Unslinging the bow off his back he knocks an arrow and lets fly one of the daggers from his hands raising the bow at the same time with the intent of wounding if not killing any of the creatures who venture out to investigate....
(ooc-My intent is to get a few to investigate then charge past the rest. However if it works that i kill them and the others still know not were i am i will repeat the process)

i have noted that a lot of people seem to know each other from out side the inn. I was wondering if this is simply because of time as an innmate that you all know each other so well or if you all have met in person. As a member of the U.S. Coast Guard I Travel at an almost extreme rate and would not mind meeting some of my fellow inn mates

I truly dont understand the epic battle going on for a post title. I thought they were there simply to show who has been here longer and who you should turn to if you needed help. Right? So with people who are new here and just spaming the threads for X number of posts and getting titles well, honestly who are they gonna help when it comes down to it. I belive the rules that are set in place are probably for the best.
