I've e-mailed my bio to t_catt.

All set and ready to go. So looking forward to this!

Topic: Star Trek: The Cassius Incident Q&A
Subject: Jesse Graham

My character will have come aboard in that April/May timeframe, then. Part of his bio is that he was on the USS Liberator during the Battle of Wolf 359, which occurred in 2367. After that he was elevated from Assistant Chief of Ops to full Chief of Ops on the Liberator, where he served for a bit before being reassigned to Discovery. I want him to have had a little time to get acclimated to the Ops Chief position before his transfer.

Subject: Back from trip

Howdy peeps,

Just got in from being out of town for the weekend; I'm about to start filling in my character's bio; should be ready by tonight.

Just a preview: Jesse Graham is from west Texas, and will be perhaps the 24th century's last cowboy. His family has been ranchers for generations, and in fact still runs one. He grew up doing all the things ranchers have done for generations, as his family prides itself on upholding tradition: herding cattle, spending more time on horseback than not, living off the land, getting satisfaction from the great outdoors, and living by the cowboy's code of honor and ethics.

It's perhaps his love of the outdoors that drew his attention to the stars from early on, and while he eventually went to Starfleet Academy, graduated at the top of his class, and has so far had a distinguished career in Starfleet, he's still a cowboy at heart.

I think he will be a unique addition to the crew, and I look forward to his interactions with all of you.

Anxiously anticipating those two awesome words...GAME ON.

And no Net access until Sunday night. Probably going to be Monday or Tuesday at the earliest before I can work on my character info. Just wanted to give a heads-up on that.

Having been away from the Inn for while, it's good to see that things seem a lot more active now than when I left. It's nice; the Inn should always be filled with the sounds of satisfied patrons.

On what type of character I want to play. Gonna hold off on submitting final character info until the Q & A thread is up; might be something in there I can use.

And now I am posting again for no reason so I will hit 600 posts. That 599 offends my OCD sensibilities. So pbbbbffffft.

I'm in of course; but I am going to ponder a really good character for this one. One that shall be spoken of in the annals of the Inn for ages to come! Hehehe. So don't kill me.

Hey all; long time no see!

Figured I'd drop back in to the good ol' Inn and see what's shakin'.

Hearty greetings to the old-timers that I know, and a big howdy to those I haven't met yet.

I'm going to try to be back around somewhat regularly; got an e-mail from an Innmate that there might be a Star Trek game a-brewin', and anyone who knows me knows that I loves me some Trek gamin'.

See you around the Inn! If Eol is still around, I expect a tackle and facelick are imminent.

Many thanks, Eol and Meri

Gonna try to check in somewhat regularly. Good to see both of you!

I don't see having time to join a game just yet, but hopefully we will slow down a bit at work after the first of the year and I won't have to work so much.

Strangely enough, I have missed yer facelicks, Feffimus.

Good to see the Inn still stands. Hello to all of my Innmates!

Just passing through to say hello and that I am still among the living.

Brief recap of life since my departure: Graduated college. Started my machinist career. Just finished first year at my job. Working about 60 hours a week. Still no free time. Mom passed away. Got engaged. Broke up. Had a nervous breakdown. Got better. Had 2 heart attacks. Had a total of 4 stents put in my heart. Quit smoking. Started eating right. Lost a bunch of weight. Living day to day.

Just read about YeOlde passing away. I am so sorry; he was a good friend here at the Inn.

Anyway, will try to drop in occasionally. Hope all of you are well.

I am holding a towel, prepared for Eol's facelick, if he's still here.

Best wishes to you all. May your blades stay sharp and your purse stay full.

Ok, so I guess this dies before it's born. Recruitment is cancelled.

Disappointing. Would have been a fun time.

Can't seem to get much response looking for a game either.

Not exactly the return I had imagined. Going on hiatus from the Inn for a while. Too many rl disappointments happening right now to go through it here too.

Take care everyone. See you around.

I like it a lot, Tiamat. Still hoping for enough response to get it off the ground. Hoping for at least 3 to 4 players.

Hiya t_catt, good to be back.

Alacrity, I completely understand. All the Trekkin' I've done here fizzled as well. If we launch, though, the offer still stands.

Eol, I am thinking TNG era. Still pondering whether or not I will center it around any of the major story points in the shows/movies. Maybe try something new and unique. Still gauging response.

Join me in a stroll through the lush foliage of Trek, y'all.

When you're right you're right-hehe. I did jump the gun a bit and I stand properly reminded!

As far as character info, for now just ponder upon what race, background, position and any other ancillary bits you'd like. I'll get more specific requirements to you if there's enough response to launch.

Thanks for the interest tiamat!

Wow, don't everyone respond at once. Ah well. Guess it won't be happening then. Can't say I'm not disappointed; I was looking forward to running a fun game.

Guess I'll be trolling for a game to join soon, then.

Later all.

Granted. Apes took over the planet and made Charlton Heston and Mark Wahlberg king and queen. Everyone left. Very peaceful now.

Subject: Anyone for a freeform Star Trek game?

Hey all!

After an extended absence I have returned to the Inn and all my friends getting sloshed within it. Heh. Or eating a haunch of something dead.

I would like to launch a freeform Star Trek game, and I wonder if anyone would be interested in playing.

This would not be any sort of extension of storylines from any of the other Trek games we've played here. I missed out on a lot of story points of the previous games and I wouldn't want to do them any sort of disservice by trying and flubbing. This would be a fresh story, although if you want to play and have played in past games you are of course welcome to use that character (it would be awesome if Mac made an appearance, Eol-wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

So, if you'd like to boldly go with me, just let me know. I promise I will do my best to make it an enjoyable game!

Ok, so just a brief update: I am back to terrorize the Inn on a regular basis now. Got the wi-fi situation in line, got a new laptop, and I will probably kick off my return by trolling for interest in a freeform Trek game. I hope there will be enough interest to get one started. If not, I'll be looking for a game shortly. Later all!

*Mops Eoliva from face*

Awesome! My day is now complete!

Getting my laptop today, and should have wi-fi at home within a few days, so my return is ever more imminent.

Thanks for the warm (and moist-thanks, Eol) welcome back. I will hopefully be gaming again soon.

Hey all, long time no see. Just a quick check-in to let everyone know I am alive, and hopefully I will be able to rejoin the Inn on a regular basis before too long. All is pretty well here; I am about to start my final semester of college, and if all goes well this semster I will be graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Other than that, just trying to survive and such.

I hope everyone is well, and good gaming to all!
