Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Safe Passage!
Yes we should try the eye patches just in case. Safe Passage does not have to just be on a ship!!!
"Ye Never Know Jes When Er Where Ye Need Ta Show These Fer Safe Passage Or Help!"
Captain Crayfish, Dagger and the Stout Hearts exchanged knowing glances at one another!
Crayfish then piped up for added emphasis: "Specially Fer Safe Passage!"
"Safe Passage! Safe Passage!"
Who wants to do the shout out? I can have the Shaman do it. He might guess at the "Safe Passage" as a wish and then realize it may work!
We were told FOUR time to use them for SAFE PASSAGE!!!!

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: But What About The Plus Damage?
I was wanting to know how the Plus to weapon spell wotked. I felt it was a way to make the Quarter Staff even better by adding to the full damage and them +.
Wow, I really thought the skeletons were more to the south of Crow, not all along the west flank. If I'd seen that he probably would not have left Crow.
Ok, just saw Jozan1 Q&A that the two of them can take on the 5 on the east. Tohmas will turn back to help Crow. Tohmas can put an arrow in the northeast skeletons while he moves and then switch to his quarterstaff with casting 2 attribute points on it to make it a +2 weapon. He'll help with 1-5 nortwest skeletons.
(I rewrote this after reading Jozan1's Q&A.)

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Weapon Plus Spell??
If Tohmas switches to his quarter staff to beat down the close skeletons how do this plus work? What attribute points is it talking about?
Trying to figure which attack would be most helpful to the group, arrows or quarter staff. The plus to damage could come in hand if we seem to be overwhelmed.
1-Level Atari Granted Spell Weapon Plus is The spell puts a +1 on a weapon or shield for every attribute point the caster wants to place on the object. When the caster wants their attribute points back, the spell expires and the object loses its magical pluses. Only one caster can place a plus on an item.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: No Walls..........
The way I read it there are no wall left, only piles of rubble. So there isn't anything to put at our backs. We do need to rally though. It may need to be a circle with the Illustionist (the 7hp squishy guy) in the middle. Melee weapons out and swinging.
---------------------------------
I was trying to use a piece of graph paper to get an idea where we all stood. Each square was 5 feet. That's why I asked about left - right and east - west.
We were traveling north with Crow leading. I'll work it based on that and Hammer's descriptions.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Which Way????
Ok, I'm confussed. When we said we were attacking the ones to the right I thought we had turned to face south to see the skeletons. That would them the west group. So now from Hammers seems to have us going toward the east group. Can we firm this up?

Topic: Treasure Seekers Subject: Call To Action...........
Tohmas turned seeing the oncoming undead. Willem then called out, "We should take one group on, I say the right. Fight them before the rest hit, but we dont' have much time!" With his quarter staff secured and his shield on his back Tohmas pulled his hunting and knocked an arrow. "I will follow you and take down what I can before you engage." Trotting after Willem Tohmas draw aim on the first skeleton to come into clear range and let the arrow fly while whispering a prayer to Altira to guide its flight. Surely this creatures were the cause of the blight on these ruins. Tohmas continued to fire until Willem and the others rushed into the enemy. The Shaman then turn his aim on other group of skeletons as they closed into range.

Topic: Voyages of the Rocinante - Firefly RPG QnA Subject: Cool...........
Ash would have out of that round dark spot in the upper left corner of the center section. Then spotted the ASREV and Wyatt. Crawled left to aft over that big ring trying to stay out of sight as much as possible. Staying prone and hiding behind that big thing in the center of the aft over the main engine section, using it as cover.

Topic: Voyages of Rocinante - Serenity/Firefly RPG Subject: A Loom With A View.............
Asher ran down the corridor to the ladder up to the EVA hatch. Quickly climbing up he opened the Eva hatch that lead to the outside of the Roc. Cautiously he opened the hatch crawled out carefully across the upper haul. Working his way aft he crawled over the Gravity Rotor Housing. The kid knew that would most likely be someone still in the command seat of the ASREV and he needed to stay low. Maneuvering behind the Reaction Control Tower and RCS Thruster Housing Ash caught sight of Wyatt crossing to meet the federal Marshall. Swinging his GRZ 1 Assault Rifle into position the kid was ready to provide the needed public relations.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Clues We Have Been Given..........
The water sound seemed to be a quarter mile away or 440 yards.
We move toward it 100 yards, now 340 yards away.
Pirates are 100 yards behind us and closing.
We hear the sounds of water, but this place is desolate.
Water attracts animals and is a reason to build a city.
No life but water is wrong. Likely to be tainted waters.
Rubble is not good to run across, but this a city so there should be street/path with less rubble.
I doubt we can cover the 340 yards before the pirates catch us. There are no walls left to hide behind. So should we find the high ground and defend it. A mount that causes the pirates fight up hill and gives us better view? The piles of broken bones will make it harder for them to advance.
-------------
The Druid will gladly protect the squishy Bard.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Oh Yeah.................
So is that working out for us????
Well we can't call our target area but if we can smash the skulls and weapon arms it wouldd go a long way.
So does the group think an Entangle spell might help?

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Oh Great............
We have two holy men and niether has "Turn Undead",
The Paladin does so that's a plus.
Tohmas can cast "Entangle" while some of the pirates are still coming through the bush. That should at least slow some of them.
Remember, Protect Your Healers!!!
We seem to be being driven toward the water sound, this may not be good.
Killing the dead may be tough seeing that they are already dead. Just how much effect can an arrow have on bone?
Seems like hack, slash and crunch time.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: A Guess..............
The sneek peck said that Crow and Tohmas couldn't tell how old the ruins were but could they guess about how old they seemed? 100 years, over 100? They would resemble something.
Also we should remember this is an island and resources are not plentiful, so recycleing would be natural. The wreckage would show it was not easy to get stuff by sea and the mountains restrict land travel. So both Tomas and Crow may come to that conclusion. We need to look for trails and other signs. So we can decide which way to go next. Hopefully Hammer will give us some good clues in his post or we can ask questions here.

Topic: Treasure Seekers QnA Subject: Caught Up... Sort of........
I think I've caught up to everyone now. Set it up for Tohmas to be looking for information along with treasure. I think that updating the maps for Mad Dog would be valuable too. Information can be traded and sold too. Bards and Mages usually write so it might be natural for them to update their maps and chronicle our travels. Every epic tale is told by song from Bards. Tohmas would just do pictographs on his map. Barabarion symbols for things such as mountains, caves, dwellings, ect.
