*looks back at the Q&A thread*...would like a skill check roll, please? I can post before that if you'd like.

Yay, short break! Hectic Holiday season, anyway.

So... I'd love to be in the picture! And if Hobolyra is MIA ~ I *cringes* might be able to cob something together! If you've been following Breaking the Fourth, the art would probably be in a similar fashion.

Let me know!
*muwah!*

Subject: The Holiday Season

I have friends from all walks of life. Muslim, Christian, Pagan, Native American, Jewish, Agnostic, Atheist, Buddhist, Taoist, and so on and so on. I don't care what religion you are. If you wish me a Merry Christmas, I will wish you one right back, heartfelt and true. If you wish me a Blessed Yule, I will say it right back and mean it. I refuse to get upset over HOW you wish me a happy season. The fact that you took the time to wish me joy is all that matters to me. Love and joy and laughter and companionship and friendship is what's important. Love one another as you would love yourself. Do as you will, but harm none.

I definitely swiped this from someone, but it needs to be said. Happy Holidays in whichever fashion you choose!

Looks like fun! Nice first entry ~ are you planning on changing the background as things get more horrific? I find the cheerful background ironically funny in regards to David's first comments.

Hooray for lack of writer's block!

Funnily enough, the last TNG episode we watched was the one where Worf and his son get caught in a holodeck western without safety protocols ~ and having to finish the story. ^_^

Topic: Where have all the Star Wars games gooooooone?
Subject: It's very cold.... in space

Raven! I would totally run a Star Wars game.... if only I knew what the heck was going on in that 'verse. If anything, I'd be running a Star Trek game because I'm a Trekker!

I have to admit something though....

...post-modern games kinda scare me. I'd be afraid that it wouldn't be cannon for my players, or that we'd be too busy looking up ship functions instead of rping. ^_^

If a SW game were to be run, any suggestions as to... er... timeline/location?

I like it, Ody! Tess'll have some gaff about flying, and if the skill check has any success, she'll comment on that too.

Guess I should have asked about the check sooner. Sorry Al!

Well, better have Tess do the check just to see if she can figure out where they are. Tactical advantage and all. ^_^

Consequently, how does Ken know about Arrowhead class speeds?

Subject: Planning

As far as my games go, they are large and rather involved beastly things.

However...

I was planning on doing some one shots on the days where we are missing players. A good place to start for free mods is actually here at the Wizards of the Coast archive. That link is a direct link to their free adventures (complete with level listings, maps, etc), but if you go to their 3.5 archive (button on the left), there is all sorts of goodies for DMs.

Hope this helps!

you're welcome, T_O!

My theory is: if you're going to swear at your deity in a world that still has quite a bit of divine influence, you better be prepared for the consequences!

This works in the opposite way too ~ I have had a player save their party through profuse prayer (but it too had a % chance of succeeding)
