Subject: Geoff of Broyhill

Geoff moves a step to the northeast, pulling and tugging away from the bothersome and pesky vegetation then strikes at the woman who is still blind in front of him.

She must pay for putting so many lives at risk!

Quote:Oh in 3.5e, it takes up your entire movement? In 5E, costs half your movement and doesn't proc Attacks of Opportunity. I might edit my post then if it takes up entire movement

you can always spend your standard action moving

Hi, all. I think I fixed what was wrong. I flubbed up on some setting or another and it was blocking this sight, I think it is because it sends me elsewhere in a "suspicious manner".

I second Nomad's comment on damage and ability to fight. D and D was designed mostly to just play and have fun, though there are those who have fun with adding reality such as it sounds you are doing.

I have played that way, but I am lazy and prefer just playing.

That spell is a standard action so you can move and cast, but not attack

d6 is the damage die.

on a slightly seperated note, I believe it is like dire weapons where it can be used as a double attack in a round with the usual penalties for two weapon attacks.

It can also be made of dark wood.

here are some links for yo to verify my claims:

basic weapon info
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/weapons/weapon-descriptions/quarterstaff

double weapon:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/weapons#wpn-quality-double

Darkwood:
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/equipment---final/special-materials#TOC-Darkwood

is that enough information, or is it too much information?

Having a good blow struck against the woman, Geoff presses with his attack against her.

Subject: oops, I missed something!

I have to be honest guys, I am not sorry I disappeared on the 19th

My 9 year old niece wanted to throw me a birthday party and it was late when I got home and was still tired Sunday. I enjoyed myself greatly! But here I am now!

That brings me to a rather important question: How is the rolling to be done?

Subject: do I get this right?

I see a gap in the hull edge between feral people to the left and right of the captured cleric. does that mean the only opening into the ship is there?

if so, Geoff would move to stand next to the left side of "a" - Athelia Moonstrikyr to defend the gap.

"The water is not ours to bargain with." Is all Geoff says.

He lets his hand rest on his sword's hilt. Nothing subtle at all. Why would he? Their ax men here are already poised for battle and this shakedown was as subtle as a great club.

The water is intended for the town, not brigands and especially those who punch old folk!!

furthermore, it is about the honor of failure, even if half of the water gets there, to Geoff, that is a failure if it was given to the brigands.

Well, I was wondering, what did the party want to do? As players.
Do we fight and keep the water for the tows folk?
of
do we share and capitulate to this shake down?

Personally, I say fight!

Subject: OOC: us vs them

there are 6 of us and 6 of them.

they have a caster, we have a caster, or so

we have a sorl, they have . . . a thing.

Threy have a prisoner we want, we have water they want.

Shall we do initiative, because I would not trust them to a truce.

Sure you can cast fireball, it just centers on you every time.

Oh don't worry, you will be fine!
Your friends, though, not so fine . . . . .

commercial break:
I found an issue of the dragon magazine, number 49 that has an interesting article about wishes on page 63 called "Best Wishes!" by Gary Snyder

on an aside, those stat are pretty close to where my body is right now

My wish: I wish Gary Gygax's heart had not failed him so he would still be alive today.

*sob*
