Topic: DnD stereotypes
Subject: Needs papers for D&D addiction and proud of it
I even put a few more down.
1. lots of mountain dew (and other pops)
2. loads of funyuns (and other snacks cant play without them)
3. black light (yeah to show the black light posters in basement better)
4. something to get high with (nope)
5. we're all still virgins (only one but he makes up for it with in game encounters)
6. Computer geek? (most of us are)
7. Dorky-(nope)
8. Pastey (only when we dont get out in the sun)
9. Pimple Popper- (think we all had them when we were teenagers).
10. Avid reader of Sci Fi and Fantasy novels and thinks JRR Tolkin was a God (who doesnt?)
11. Pocket protectors (nope)
12. Glasses (all but 3 of us wear)
13. Mounds of comic books (yeah to read while one guy argues with DM)
14. Thinks D&D the movie was good(plot, actors, acting, story all sucked, only the dragons were cool)
15. doesn't need caffine to have a 48 game fest non stop (need it)
16. knows the complete history of more than 10 items in any RPG (I know some but the others know more)
17. Knows complete history of at least 3 comic book heroes (I dont I just like to read them but rest of my group does.)
18. doesn't have posters of babes/hunks on his/her walls, instead has dragons, knights and other fantasy types (why have babes/hunks on your wall when you can have fantasy settings)
19. swords on walls while playing but by end of game everyone has one in hand.
20. went to a renn. fair and got most dwarf like person there
21. started playing at age 7 and has yet to stop.
22. has spent more on books in a given year then on a car
23. keeps spare copies of their D&D books in trunk just in case they need them.
24. has played D&D in a woods on a scary with thunder and lightning, etc. night and was only afraid the DM might use this as a chance to kill off their character
25. same as 24 but in real haunted house.

"Well this isnt the first time I have been called by The Golden One it was something my Grandfather used to call me. Well since you asked I will take the stone to the far right. I get to keep it right?"
Gunar takes the far right stone and slids it to infront of him.
"Logan didnt mean to ignore you but food and drink called as to that boy he tried to attack me with a bone of some animal I think. He surprised me and if I hadnt noticed he was half starved I might have hurt him but I just smacked him hard he seemed fine when I left him down the road with some of my iron rations I dont think he will try to rob anyone for a while. I told all this to the innkeeper and a couple other people he told me are captain of the local guards and the elders of the town. The innkeeper is going to go look for the boy in a bit he said."
With that he goes back to eating and drinking.

Subject: Lets kill it
Im all for fighting it I have short legs and haven been in a fight in days here. I would fight a tree or rock if you would point me at one the druid doesnt mind me destroying. I would even be willing to fight the cow if someone brought up to me but I wasnt planning on ever going back down to get it that was going to be up to someone else if they wanted to do that.
P.S. This is turning out to be a very fun game also.

Subject: Not going to bother trying to do taunt if i get to fight it might taunt while i fight.
Gunar waited to see if the person trying talking to this creature would have luck. He might not agree with negotiations but he guess for others it was better they talked to the enemy then die but for him he would always be ready for the fight when it came. He made sure his axes were ready to be out in a moments notice to attack it before it got to the group. If they wanted to feed it was up to them. He didn’t plan to get involved unless it ate dwarves but not many things eat dwarves. Might have to do with their toughness.
“Feed it if you want but I don’t think troshba would make good pets.”
Gunar keeps one eye on the troshba so that if it attacks he will be ready to feed it some steel. He would let them feed it if that was what they wanted to do. He didn’t care as long as it didn’t follow them like a puppy after they fed it.

Subject: A dwarf walked in to a bar ............
A dwarf walked up to the inn. He looked at the place and wasn’t impressed he saw many ways it could be improved. He thought to himself I doubt they will have dwarven ale will just have to drink the stuff that passes for ale here not much choice.
He was running a little behind he had expected to make the earlier but had run into a half staved boy who had tried to rob him on the road. He had spanked the boy of course didn’t even break a sweat when he realized the boy only wanted food he had given the boy some iron rations that would teach him to rob travelers. He wondered a little if the boy would even think about robbing another traveler after that.
He walked up to the door opened it and breathed in the smell that every inn in the world seems to have. He turned to the bar and ordered a pitcher of ale for himself then he looked for a table to sit at. He would eat later he figured always more important to drink then eat in his eyes if things got out of order who knows what would happen.

Gunar Goldstone was doing what a dwarf does after any battle. He was trying to exhaust the town of drink. It was all going smoothly he had drunk a lot of the town under the table but then no one else was coming to drink with him and he realized the party was drawing to a close. So he looked over at the stacks of people who had been drink with him.
“Sirs I hope you guys don’t mind but I think I will take a nap till you guys wake up then we will get back to drinking.”
With that Gunar sat back against the barrel even though he had a room he didnt want to leave these fellows alone passed out. It was the barrel he was drinking from he had lost track of what it was all he knew was it wasn’t dwarven made. He took a nap till the fellows near him woke up so they could drink again in the morning. Drinking was fun alone but it was always more fun to drink others under the table.

In 2e I believe you could be a dwarven druid and they are exactly how you discribe them I would have to look though. I have no problem with a dwarf druid. If there werent any in 2e there should have been might have kept character from wandering into half the trouble they do in the subterrian. lol

Subject: My Favorite campaign
I was in this one campaign in my saturday night gaming. So anyway we were supposed to carry this amulet from one temple to another. To confuse anyone who might attack us we were each given a box with a amulet in it and I beign the best fighter the party had I carried the one that was extra the one that was supposed to be the real one. The priest had told us to switch our amulets around everyday so that no one who spied on us would know which was which. What no one knew was I switched amulets to protect the one better. What I didnt know was that the thief spent all night also switching amulets around. So we get to the temple and no one not even the DM knows who is wearing the real one. So we show the priest all the amulets in the hopes that he can tell. He had never seen it before so he had no idea. Priest tells us that there is one way to know which is the real one and that is to make a wish and it will be granted if it is the real one. So we all sit there making wishes and the thief all of a sudden disappears(DM rolled dice to see who was granted). Well that ended the campaign because no one could find him. lol
