A lot of thoughts passed through Phil's mind. She appeared to think he was stupid. There were men approaching. She had a disk. The men were leaving. She was leaving. Well, then no one had screwed up the meet right? Or was it something about the blonde who kept hugging him. Should he follow her? Maybe, but he'd have to ask the girls first. Maybe they could give him advice on how to get another hug. But he was managing that one pretty well on his own. But then there was the guy. She seemed to know him. Called him Jonathan. Was he involved in the meet? Did the other two manage to finish their business and bring in the money?

A lot of thoughts. When he looked up, the people who had been standing in front of him had long since left the bar.

I found a bug in google chrome.

While Firefox and most browsers are intuitive enough to save your input into a webpage when you save the page itself, Google Chrome is not yet capable of this. I'm researching a work around. Thanks to those who like it.

“Oh you poor dear!” the blonde exclaimed and pulled Phil into a tight embrace, clutching his head to her bosom, “Jonathan told me of your plight. Your oppression will end. We will see a verse that is truly free one day.” She released Phil and looked at him with a smile, “So where is he?”

Phil raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. He'd been played before, but he'd never been pressed against big breasts as part of the play. Well, she asked the right questions. He had a few options. The job, he had to focus on the job. The girls would be upset if he didn't make sure things went right. Well that was easy enough.

"He stepped out. Come, I'll show ya." And he offered her his hand and started for the door. Once he got her out of here he could ask more questions. That would simplify this whole mess.

"Wait..." he paused as he was about to go out the door. He'd lost his train of thought and didn't want to muck this up. "Who are you looking for again?" He was sincere as he fondled his tin of chocolate.

Well, I've fiddled, and I've toiled. I've smacked HTML, JS, and CSS into next week, but unfortunately I just have too many items for the sheet to fit the way I would like it to on screen and still print well.

However, it occurred to me that that is pretty much meaningless. This sheet was never designed with the intention of printing. It was designed for the high tech gamer to have a highly usable sheet to sit on his pc and look at during games. Most of my face to face group uses laptops today.

I understand that hardcore gamers are picky. If you have a need for a printed sheet, they can be found hundreds of places on the net. I like the Mad Irishman's sheets.

However, if you have a need for a WORKING html sheet, with a creator you can simply drop an email to and he'll add features at your request, then this is what you're looking for.

I completed the sheet, added the features I wanted plus a few requests. Once I completed it, I found it incredibly easy to make new sheets using the template. As a demonstration (and for my own purposes) I built a Star Wars d20 sheet as well. They can be both found on my website.

In addition, I'm leaving direct links here. if you would like to host them or otherwise, oh great Operator, feel free.

Why is our web designer so determined to keep the whole internet in captivity right here?

It's starting to seem like you're trying to reinvent the cart wheel.

One of my characters did that. It didn't go well.

Phil was sitting around as the world continued spinning. The tea was good and the company was pleasant. Everything was going well except that one of the girls had left the table and was near people that were probably dangerous. He wasn't sure how to react but was trying to follow orders.

Orders...something about don't leave the bar? No, there was something about a blonde. He had to keep an eye out for a blonde. Gotta make sure she didn't muck up the deal. If the information was right, Kane had paid money for a disk from the guy at the bar. He had to make sure something didn't happen. No one should mess up the meet. Yeah, that's it.

It was a good thing too. Kane took the guy to a back booth. This should keep things from going awry. But then there was something about a--OO GIRL! Phil spotted a blonde entering the bar.

"Found her! I'll be right back." and if neither of his allies stopped him, Phil got up and walked over to the blonde.

"You looking for Kane?" he said, fingering his chocolate tin in his pocket.

I wouldn't mind the sniper role, but I know that this guy is going to end up more in the up-close & personal role than the long ranged sniper shooter. So I suspect his usual gun would look more like Vera than the sniper rifle in Ep 1

He isn't a picky person. Which is why I wanted him to be capable with any weapon. He is more or less ok with whatever's handy.

But, when it comes to picking out a weapon, he would go for whatever looks most intimidating. So he wouldn't be one to carry a "stock" gun.

He would have the "synthetic folding stock" the "banana clip" and all the quirks to make it look like a fiersome weapon.

Hope that helps.

I couldn't really think of what would be good for the gun-sized item, so I think I'm going to go more obscure. If this isn't ok, let me know or try to help me improvise something better.

a box of chocolate <---girls like chocolate, especially when it's hard to come by

And for the machine gun vs rifle, sorry, couldn't find any decent rifles in the list (I really didn't understand how to read it at the time. I'm definitely going to need your help on this one.

Phil wasn't really keeping up with the conversation. As far as he could tell their contact had arrived...or, if it wasn't their contact, it was good enough. That satisfied him. He hoped the meet went well. He wanted to eat sometime soon.

He watched as the man spoke to Kane, and Mel got up from the table. "You three stay here, and I mean it. Let me try something.

As if she had to be firm about it. He knew what his part was. Do what the girls tell me and everything will be fine. It had worked this long. It had to keep working. But then the other two girls he was with. Maybe that's why she said it like that. Grace and Angela weren't the types to stay put. Grace would often get distracted by shiny metal objects, and Angela...well Angela liked to forget. Well, actually, he didn't imagine she liked it all that much, but it tended to happen often.

Maybe that's why she was firm. She was saying to watch over them. Well, that made sense, but she didn't have to ask. He'd do it anyway. They were girls after all. The three of them were all he ever thought about. He'd even named his weapons after them. Well, if it came down to a dangerous situation, he was ready.

Subject: Phil's intro

So they ended up in a bar... Well, he'd heard stories about bar fights. He hadn't been in one, but he was told he'd be pretty good at it. Fair enough. He made sure to run the drinks from the bar to the table for everyone, serving the ladies first.

Phil was drinking tea. It was a weird choice for a guy his size, but he never did like the taste of alcohol. He didn't grow up with the constant parents over his shoulder telling him he couldn't have it, so it didn't have the forbidden fruit appeal. He tried it once and hated it. He drank tea because he had been told it was a 'girly' drink and that was exactly what he was going for: girls.

He sat down in the seat that was left, and it put him right next to Grace. He immediately asked if she could show him how she fixed the juke box and was genuinely intrigued by the conversation, clearly not understanding a single word. Girls are so awesome.

He took note of the contact not being there when it was mentioned. He had gotten good at noticing things but didn't always understand their meanings. He waited for an order, and, not receiving one, continued asking questions about how the juke box worked.

Topic: Firefly/Serenity RPG - Looking for Browncoats
Subject: brief background

I read through everyone else's background and I already passed my basic background with Alacrity. I'll try to make it clearer here

Phil lived on one of the moons about as far from alliance space as one could get. He was just a kid when his parents were killed and had to support himself. As a result he really never got any kind of formal education. He just learned the tricks of survival. Kill or be killed. See your enemy before they see you. That's what he lived by.

Heck, he lived so far out on the rim that he didn't even know there was a war. That is, until the alliance passed through his land. The browncoats had some sort of base or something. Well, he never really got the details. He just--happened to be wearing brown that day. It's not like he had money for cloth dyes.

Well, he had learned real fast not to let people walk all over you. The problem was, in an encounter with the alliance that didn't pay off. He was called a browncoat and tossed into prison. He ended up at Larkhill ((sorry, love the V reference)). He did grunt work for whoever would let him, but the truth was he always had one thing on his mind. He tended to follow the women around.

He had made a "friend" in prison who kept telling him about how he would have to 'rape' the women and how they would be cruel to him. He was so utterly dumbfounded when one of them was nice to him ((I am guessing mind-erased girl is best for this role)) that he forgot why he was there.

He immediately took on the task of defending them when needed and they would find it as easy as "do such and such" to see him walk over and do what was asked. He practically worshiped the girls, so when a fight broke out, it wasn't a surprised that he even turned on his own "friend" to protect them.

Now he was just glad they liked to keep him along. He knew enough to know that they knew better than he. He just did what was asked, and it seemed to work pretty well.
