I say we head back towards the carts and see if they are still there.

Rat agrees

to first check traps and open satchel and then head back to the carts and tell them about the tree-monster encountered.

Roll has been sent to SD.

Not good

It appears someone is planning a nice little attack on Oaks Heart.

Just conjecture at this point, but once we survey and inspect the work site, checking out those "X" on the map might not be a bad idea.

Hmmmm....

The Xs on the map were all inside of the town, correct?

I suggest two things . . .
1. We get back to the wagons ASAP. I think it would be a good idea to let the woodsmen know about the map and what it seems to indicate. Lets not forget that it might have been the orc who had this information. Maybe. They can then warn the town while we continue with our little trip.
2. We will look at the scroll and the box - after we get back to the wagons. First, I want to get back quickly. Looking for traps, etc. takes time. Second, we might want to show the woodsmen the wax seal on the scroll before we destroy it by opening the scroll. At least I assume that opening the scroll is likely to damage it. If the sign represents a local orc tribe or some such the woodsment might recognize it.

So Anvil suggests grabbing the stuff and heading back. Normal marching order. Anvil will bring the spear with him.

I don't want to post yet on the other thread since only two have commented so far. If I haven't posted by tomorrow afternoon someone else can make the group posting.

Also, I think we might be getting another group member. If Abraxis is out there and joining up - welcome! We can always use another member to help keep the Rat from doing something foolish . . .

Back to the wagons

Sounds like a good plan to me. I'll cover the rear.

Rat agrees

with Abraxis joining. Need to blend it into the story appropriately.

Hammer, hi and welcome back from Rat and the old man behind him.
