Welcome or Not!

The wilderness had not been kind to Erihsehc having once thought that the walkabout would calm and sooth his tormented mind. The demons had far from gone and the anger of man raged fiercely in his dark twisted world. Still he believed going back to a place, a place that once made him feel at ease might, just might be the key to end his pitiful turmoil.

It had been over 18 months maybe longer since he made any contact with the world. He had come across strangers in the strange lands but he neither knew nor cared whether these people were real or just a figment of his confused mind. He rarely spoke to anyone and when he did only his own voice would reply. How he survived in the lands is still a mystery as his inner being liked too play games yet they were not entertaining. But he was here now, observing from a distance wondering if he should make a move.

When he first visited this place acquaintances were plentiful and pleasurable. Though he stayed away from the watchers others took him and gave him a worthwhile part to play. For a long period this was how it continued until eventually his mind got the better and the evil began slowly seeping through his honourable self. He began to change for the worse; he even began to defy the watchers going far as challenging the chief watcher, a fellow Cat, and others of the highest order. Though some saw pity others vied for blood. Knowing that the evil was wrenching the goodness from his heart, Erihsehc began to struggle with the day to day and slowly but surely began to fade away from the light, preferring the safeness of the dark. Every so often he would appear trying to make amends and though he was given a duty in one of the highest orders it was short lived and futile. It was then he knew that he needed to leave the place and not knowing if he would ever return.

Yet here he was back and the place had seen changes. As he observed he noticed that the place was not as busy as he once knew it. The old guard and watchers were still visible and there were some new faces but his closest acquaintances had gone, he was probably now a forgotten memory of days gone by. Still he stood by looking in, half in the shadow, half in the sunlight a tortured man wondering about his next step.

Half a Human Half a Wolf

Not far, just upon the border of shadow and light stands another. Her hair is tangled and wild, draping down to a length at her knees, and her eyes know not the tame. Her name is Celedwe, and she was raised by the wolves.

A shifter in the area

She was well aware of the other two, her bright yellow eyes watching them, as her large paws pressed down into the soft earth below her. A low growl escaped from the panther's lips. She wasn't what she seemed, moving towards the female, her eyes focusing completely upon her. Her movements were beautiful, graceful, and dead silent.

Her true side was a shifter, but she prefered her many animal sides.

Sakari

Stumbling blindly through the forest, she finally realizes what she is... A demon princess, and a shapeshifter. Her mind wandered back to that night before... Zack... She sighed as she thought about the boy her age she had met... Suddenly, she was grabbed and a knife was pressed against her neck.

What to do?

Her ears were drawn to something else, and she instantly turned in that direction. Her eyes peered through the trees without any trouble, pin-pointing a female with a knife to her throat. She looked back towards the two that she had spotted earlier, than back to the female. What to do...what to do?

Still being in her panther form, she had to make a choice, her tail swaying slightly.

Leave troubles to those who care!!

Erihsehc concentration was broken by a scuffle that broke out close by and automatically drew back into the shadows so not to be noticed. These incidences he could well do with out, figthing would only draw others and he had to be careful as there was no telling who would be about.

As he glanced around to see whom and what was being drawn to the confrontation his eyes meet a woman's. She was staring right at him and did not even flicker an eyelid when his meet hers. Even though he was in the dark her eyes were fixed on him as if she was a predator and he was the prey. She looked wild in appearance and like him seem to have little care for the fight or for any interaction with those nearby.

For the first time in a very long time, Erihsehc felt that he was not totally alone. Somebody or something had now noticed him, the question was now what to do or more importantly what action was this woman going to take?

Flying overhead

Unbeknownst to those who remain upon the ground, a set of wings beats above. The girl was just in the midst of wandering around the world, and had come here. Yet, in spite of her presence being felt, she could not be seen.
Watching the people below was interesting in a way, but she didn't know if she wanted to stay here for a while or not.
"Well, let's see what happens," The curious girl mutters to herself, "There's bound to be something interesting somewhere."
Hovering in the air, the girl remained to watch, and perhaps appear if she wanted to.

A Time to Move...

The stare was broken as Erihsehc sensed another presence. Doing a quick glance around nothing was out of place or more importantly no one was out of place. Still the feeling of being watched was strong and his thought went back to the woman. His eyes searched the place where she stood but she was no longer there. Tracking such a person his skills could probably achieve but that was not his mission. The fight had died down as local law enforcements broke up and carted off the perpetrators.

It was now time to move. Convinced that the watchers would no longer be interested in him, Erihsehc stepped out of the comfort of the shadow with his half closed eyes meeting the strong sunshine. Cautiously moving east of the town he could not shake of the feeling of being watched. It was not the watchers, he would know. No this was something or someone else, strange yet possibly friendly. Still time was vital now if he was to ever going to be except back into society. He was sure the Cat was still ruler of this place so would have to be careful but maybe this part of town was untroubled by him and his army of followers. So it was time to track down old friends to see if any survive the onslaught of the fateful day five seasons ago. Some of the names came to his mind, VileRune, Ariel, others he had forgotten but there faces were there in his mind, torturing his soul. He needed to know what happen and to do this he needed to track some of these people down if they were alive. He also needed to remember his own name, a long forgotten and unspoken name.

So it was east he went to seek and find.

The Sea Captain!

Reaching the eastern part of the town the feeling of being watched has since died down. Erihsehc was tired and hungry the only option was to try one of the inns. The very though filled him with dread. Who would be inside? Would anyone recognise him? It was a dangerous move but one that was necessary as sleeping in the open was both dangerous and more likely draw attention from the few Moderator Guards that roamed the streets. Being arrested was not an option.

Looking around he came across one inn that the windows had not been entirely covered in dirt. Walking over he gave a look around inside. Nothing out of the ordinary and from the few people inside none he recognised. He took this as a good sign and therefore made the decision to enter.

Stepping in he gave another glance around for assurances before heading towards the barkeeper. Requesting a single room and refreshments he sat down and thought about his plans. As a patron placed his food and drink on the table the inn door opened. The person who stepped in was a face Erihsehc recognised. He remembered him as a Moderator in the old days but it seemed he had since moved up the ranks. Only really coming across the Moderator once before he was calm, knowing that it was unlikely that he would recognise him. Still Erihsehc had to be careful. One wrong move and it was over.

Sneaking along through the air

Much to her own amazement, she realizes she must have dozed off a bit even while flying. The girl stretches her arms and legs, yawning slightly. Yet, even though she fell asleep, she did not appear in view.

Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she glances back below, only to find no one there. "Huh? Where'd they go?" She asks quietly to herself. She picks up the trail of the most recent one to move, and breaks a couple of speed limits flying to the town.

A spirit of the air, she had never really touched the ground before. Yes, sometimes her wings grew tired, but even then she would stay close to the sky. Watching the flickering lights of people wandering back and forth, she decides to stay up here, where no one usually looks. Seeing the inn roof to be one of the highest upon the buildings below, she softly lands on it, her invisible yet small form hardly disturbing it.

The girl leans back, resting on the rooftop, watching the stars above. She did not need to sleep at all, but she liked to. The dreams in the twilight or the night can be quite pretty... and so, still invisible, the girl closes her eyes and sleeps on the roof.

Time to Meet an Old Friend

The Senior Moderator known to Erihsehc did not stay long leaving shortly after his conversation with the bar keeper. Finishing his refreshments, Erihsehc went to his room to rest. A basic room bed, table, chair little else of description but for the small window allowing him to see the stars which he often slept under. It was unlikely that anyone would come for him and he even starting to think whether anyone actually would. This positive thought was rare for a person with a tortured mind. Whether his sleeping mind would give him any rest bite would be another matter. Still he needed to sleep.

His dreams did not trouble him that night; still the thoughts in his mind would have surely sent another man mad. Waking a few hours later, long spells of sleep were rare, he gathered his belongings and made his way out of the inn. It was more comforting to travel around in the shadowy hours with less people on the beaten roads.

If his sources were correct an old friend was around these parts and it was time to meet him whether he wanted to or not.

Item Creation - The Search for Materials

The girl awoke to the dawn, as the sun's warming rays touched her invisible form. She yawns and stretches, but then something catches her eye. There is a glimmer below, in the marketplace. Curious, the girl flies over, just above the people below.

One merchant in the market decided to display a beautiful gem, and it was its sparkle in the sunlight that caught the girl's attention. The sapphire was cut exquisitely, the angles catching the sunlight just perfectly. However, the gemstone was only being sold on its own; it was not within a ring or pendant, or other type of jewellery. This didn't bother the girl in the slightest; she was a craftsperson after all, but now how to buy the gem?

It was a simple matter for her, being used to doing this sort of thing, as she flies over to a deserted alley. She makes sure that it is indeed empty and there was no one watching, looking all over the alley methodically; she was used to this. Pulling out her belt pouch, which actually held considerably more than a normal pouch should. Still invisible, she lays out a few articles of elven-sized clothing for her to wear as she places what she is currently wearing in the bag. With calculated thoughts, she concentrates and brings her form to change. Her dragonfly wings retract into her back as her size increases. Putting on the clothing she had chosen, she allows herself to become visible.

She now had the appearance of an elven woman, with autumn-red hair and blue eyes, dressed in a relatively plain purple dress. Putting her pouch back on her waist, she confidently walks back out of the alley and proceeds to buy the gem displayed by the merchant, for a lofty sum. Placing the gem carefully in her bag, the woman strolls through the marketplace, searching for inspiration or other materials she could use. Finally getting a bar of silver and a circlet mold, she now wanders through the town, searching for a place where she can start her craft.

A Chance Encounter?

Erihsehc was walking through one of the busy marketplace that soon sprung into life. The merchants and traders would soon be busy enticing people into buying their wares. None of which Erihsehc was interested in but again it was unlikely that in the increasing crowd anyone would be interested in him.

One merchant, a large fellow in brightly coloured clothing and a big cheery smile starts boasting about his goods. Holding up a singular blue coloured gem the merchants brags about how he came about acquiring such a fine item. How and why people bought into these glorified tales baffled Erihsehc. It was not long before an elven woman dressed in purple came from nowhere to purchase the gem and leave just as quick. He continued to keep a wary eye on the goings on around the town while making his way to his meeting place. He noticed the elven woman again in the crowd and a strange feeling came over him. It was a sense of knowing, but what? He did not seem to recognise her. For a moment it caught him off guard his mind going blank and his knees almost buckling. Able to regain control he looked up but the elven woman had gone. Shaking off the incident he carried on towards his destination.

Turning into an alley and having a good look around, he advanced.

Denied Opportunity

The elven woman continues searching around the city, but surprisingly enough, there isn't any adequate place for her to work. Most of the metalwork places are specifically to work weapons or armour, with tools and setups too blunt for the elegance and beauty required of jewellery making. She sighs, there was nothing for it; she'd have to make the tiara later.

There was something else though, she had chanced a glimpse behind her and saw one of the ones she had seen the previous day. Hehehe, good thing he won't recognize me, even if he saw me in my real form She thought, and couldn't help but be amused. Her spell that allowed her to assume an elven form was potent, and many people that saw both this elven form and her real form would not be able to tell, that is, if they ever got to see her real form.

Well, I suppose there's nothing else I have to do in this form she thinks, turning in an alley. A slight surprise flickers over her face for a brief instant as she sees the same person. That's inconvenient she thought, I'll have to go elsewhere. Continuing along her path as though nothing was wrong, she cheerfully waves to the other person as any commoner would, passing them by, with all apparent intent to continue onto a different road, pretending to continue her search.
