Marvel/DC

It seems that a lot of the DC villains are more concerned with large complex plans whereas the Marvel villains are just excessively powerful and often have a one-track mind.

I would think that if Lex, Joker, Ra, or even Sinistro were to have time to go crazy, with the X-men or Avengers or Spidey it would ultimately come down to a brawl in the streets, whereas Batman or Superman would hatch some plot that depends on a large number of people doing their parts.

When Gobby or Abomination or Venom gets loose, there isn't much to do except beat them the hard way.

So while technically Wolverine's enemies are too tough for Batman, I would also say that give the circumstances that they usually live in, Batman's enemies would outwit Wolverine and defeat him.

The best villain is "The Ventriloquist and Scarface."

Look them up.

You know...

I've never truly had a favourite superhero... at least not one that I recall. The thing that I end up doing quite a bit whenever I see a comic or cartoon or anime is my weird imagination immediately comes up with my own hypothetical character to add into that world. Either that or alter one of the more minor characters to my own design.

That being said, if I had to pick, I'd probably pick Storm. Main reason: lightning and other electrical powers are among my favourite of the ones available, and she can fly after a fashion, which is another thing I like.

As for a villain, I suppose my favourite would be Mystique. Her ability isn't offensive, but it's one that is interesting to me. Not to mention she is very acrobatic, which I also like.

My Two Cents

I can honestly say I have read like five comic books my whole life (real super hero comic books that is)... so this opinion is based souly on movies, cartoons, and talking to friends who have read books...

Hellboy. I'm surprised to see no one has mentioned him. I love him, he loves kitties, and he's the reluctant hero type, human to the core, but awesome at the same time...

As for a villian... I guess Malicifient doesn't work in this catagory does she? Which is unfortunate, she really is the ultimate villian of nearly all time. But I guess if I had to pick a comic book villian... umm... I'll go with the Joker, both Jack and Heath's version are awesome.

Yes

I believe it is. Hey, you know who isn't anyone's favorite superhero anymore? The Punisher. Sorry, Grugg.

Maleficant

She wins best Disney villain hands down. Summons all the powers of Hell to curse a kid to die on her 16th birthday because she wasn't invited to the christening? And then turns into a dragon?

Come on. Disney don't make em like that anymore.

I dunno

Scar was so evil he killed his brother then somehow led the lions into DESTROYING THE SUN AND GRASSLANDS OF AFRICA in just a few years. That's pretty hard to do.

I'd like to point out here

that no one has picked Superman, to my knowledge. Interesting. Just throwing that out there.

Ultimate Moon Knight

I liked the Ultimate version of Moon Knight. Like Batman with multiple personality disorder. Crazier than a loon, too.

Well...

No votes for Howard because we have taste Eol...

And no votes for Superman because he at least personally makes me want to

He's TOO good. People can't relate to Superman because he is Lawful Good to a fault... we are disturbed how no one can tell the difference between Superman and Clark Kent just because of a pair of BC Glasses... and what is what that stupid curl of hair on his forehead?

And as for Scar... no one likes Scar... he's ugly and mean. Malicifent has charisma and presence in a room... Scar is pretty evil... but Mal just has something he never will
