Well...

I'm pretty sure none of us do have the 4e books...

I have a guess as to how the ability scores are generated, so that's not an issue for me, since it looks similar to one of the ability score generations for 3.5e.

I'll send you a small tentative sheet later, then we can go from that

Also: Hurry up, Sib-kun! You're late! (assuming he's still intending to make a character, which he said he was...)

Rer

Sib was going to join us and then realized she is very busy right now and is backing out. It looks tenativly like Loki might fill up the fourth slot, and if Sib is freed up later can certainly join in at that time.

I have downloaded a pdf of the 4e players handbook, I'll send a copy to you now Reralae

Download the 4e Players Handbook
And ...

What type are the guns?

Are they simple, military or superior and do they grant any proficiency bonus?

Thank you very much

That'll help... once I wrap my mind around it... there's a few things in there that are kind of awkward...

Wow.... been outta the loop for a while...

Gimme a few days, I'll get my head wrapped around all that's here, and I'll get the sheet to you.

Sorry for the delay.

Okay, one more week.

And I will have a fully fleshed out character. Is this okay?

Sorry again about delay.

Time

And as time progresses I must admit I have to second my co-players question.

Sincerest Appologies

I'm dreadfully sorry, Christmas ended up taking up way more of my time than I had expected and so has the beginning of the year. Things are slowly calming down around here.

I have not had much of a chance to take a good look at any of the sheets I have gotten from you, nor a chance to work up those first encounters for this game.

However... I wanted to ask a question and see what people thought of it. I have been thinking of working this up as a tabletop as well for some of my friends, and while doing that I have come to the conclusion that it would be easier to run this world in a slightly adjusted version of Witchcraft instead of 4e... the biggest adjustments I've thought up thus far (and the idea only struck me two days ago so I'll still hashing some details out) would be eliminating the more modern equipment/skills (computers, cars, machine guns etc), get rid of the bast, allow people to choose races other than human, and have some kind of adjustment to how many points could go into divine inspiration spells since the Gods are so far removed from Despair...

I just really have come to like the Witchcraft system, know it better than 4e to run a game in, and think that it might work better.

Let me know what you guys think... I can still make either work... and again sorry for dissapearing!

M.

Yay!

I really like the Witchcraft setting, so there's no problems there for me ^^

I'll write up a Mundane template for Renee

No worries

I'm unfamiliar with both systems, probably would find 4e easier but I haven't even looked at witchcraft, but the game idea will still be the same so no worries from me.

But I think you should use Witchcraft, your more experienced with it so you would be better able to run the technical (combat etc.) parts of game better.
