Icons!

We are all probabaly familiar with the D&D Icons series. These D&D figures portray the larger side of creatures. So far, Icons include the Garagntuan Black Dragon (a striking resemblence and a must have for both collectors and RPG fans everywhere) the Gargantuan Blue Dragn (a beatiful render of one of the most popular dragon species), the Icingdeath set, which contain Drizzt, that Barbarian Dude and Icingdeath, the Gargantuan white Dragon (yet another striking figure, but with the added bonus of two really powerful...and I mean really powerful side units. Its also the cheapest in the set, so I would recommend picking this one up. Finally the Icons set has my personal favorite figure. The awe inspiring Colossal Red Dragon, the only Colossal figure set to ever be released by wizards, and one of the best looking Dragon "minin's" (i use that term sparingly) on the markey today. One downside is its hefty pricetag of at least $60, but some internet sites offer it for far less. (however I wouldnt rely on bargain sites to much.)

Okay, so that was a big recap none of us needed right? I thought so. Lets get to the point then. What figures would you like to see in the icons set, it dosnt have to be a dragon mind you...but they are the most logical choices.

I personally would like to see the following:

Gargantuan Green Dragon(probabaly a given, since the other chromatics are being released.)

Gargantuan Bronze Dragon(I need it for a campaign of mine)

Gargantuan Gold Dragon (just cause Gold Dragons look cool)

Gargantuan Dracolich White/Red/Blue/Green/Black Dragons (any color is fine, but I just want to see a Dracolich...cuase they are really awsesome.)

How about you guys? What do you want to see portrayed as a mega figure?

What I'd love to see...

I'd love to see Colossal Silver Dragon. Unlikely, sure, but you asked.

I'd also like to see Tiamat (as in THE Tiamat), the Tarrasque, and to see Bahamut would be cool. Since I don't have my books near me, that's all I can think of for now.

Yep...

I agree, some Gargantuan versions of the gods would be cool. Sucks though that that Colossal Silver wont happen. Maybe a Gargantuan next year. Wizards says theu will be turning some attention to metallic dragons in '09.

Yep

Oversized creatures would be cool, even if not dragon. Thing is, there aren't really that many creatures that I can think of who are Gargantuan or Colossal and not a dragon. Tarrasque is the only one I can think of from the top of my head.

I would love to be able to choose an avatar for each of my games.

On the suject of more Avatars, how about Unicorns, big Cats, a Phoenix. ETC
