Kirien looked up. "She's fine vampire. If you don't believe me, take a pulse." Kirien brushed hair out of Erina's face and the Fallen Angel drew in a breathe, her bacdk arching.

Kirien moved her hand and she laid back, her head facing sideways. Kirien stepped aside to let D'Artigo near her.

"Stay in my line of sight. Pretty women have an odd habit of taking things out on me. Making sure he could see the witch, he advances towards Erina, reaching down to take her pulse. He couldn't see her through the mask, and his eyes were locked on the witch, so his fingers first made contact above her ribcage, in the soft fleshy spot. Slowy sliding his fingers up her neck, he kept his eyes on the witch. There it was. A pulse. Faint, but present.

Erina's eyelids fluttered open at his cold touch and without warning, she flung him across the room. "OH! I-I thought you were the witch..." Erina said when she realized it.

Kirien smiled and started to walk out. "You two can sort that out."

"I am not the witch. I am the same old masked saviour you know." Another faint scraping can be heard from within his mask. His fangs must have gone back in.

Erina relaxed and stood up. "I'm so sorry R-D'artigo." She stopped herself, aware others may be listening. Erina walked over to him and smiled akwardly, her hair falling in her eyes.

D'Artigo let out a long sigh. "Even though you look pretty when you're angry, you're much more beautiful when you're happy." D'Artigo laughed. He had a good thought this would make her more angry, but oh well.

Erina blinked and raised an eyebrow. "You know I don't believe you one bit." She said, a hint of humor to her voice.

"Mainly because I know you have a rep with women." Erina's voice was flat now, colder. She turned her face, her hair shadowing all her features but her mouth, set in a tight line.

"I knew you secretly loved me and what I did Angel. No need to hide it."

"I wouldn't know what love is. According to Miv, it's illegal for me to ever be happy with anyone but a Fallen Agel. And I have never met one I liked."

Erina had her arms crossed, looking down. She wasn't sure what she was feeling right now.

"But I do know I hate how you take advantage of women."

"Hey! That was uncalled for!" D'Artigo said, furious. "I never take advantage of women! That would reduce me to being one of the low lifes I take down. I fight for honour, for law, and for safety of innocents. But it's a lonely life, and I'm a nice guy, so I make those criminals last few moments alive good ones. But never - ever - do I take advantage of those people!"

Turning out of the cabin, he says "You insult my dignity by saying such a thing. And after carrying you all the way out here." D'Artigo bursts out of the cabin.

"She's fine. Witchling did her thing."

Erina's eyes widened as he stormed off. But she didn't know whether or not he would yell if she tried to stop him.

"Why does this have to be so confusing?" She asked herself, leaning over.

Miv walked in afer D'Artigo stormed by and looked at Erina. She stared for a second before sighing and leaning against a door.

Erina slid down a tree and looked around. Tears filled her eyes and she started crying. Erina didn't like feeling alone and lost, especially not somewhere so unfamiliar.

Miv sighed alittle and walked back to Jessica and Lamiel. Erina could be that way.
