Rose nodded reluctantly. "Leave it to Seth to spoil a moment. And I swear," She said and glared at him, "If you don't come out before one hour, I'm going to make you two pay."

She suddnly frowned and then smirked. "Or whichever one I can get my hands on." Rose stood up and tugged Max, who was again staring at the Lycan, out of the room.

About 20 minutes later, Travis and Derric pulled themselves out of the room. Both smiling.

Seth moved to leave. "Hold on...I need to find something" Travis said. He moved over to Dominics headless body...which he hoped no-one would see, and rummaged through the area for several things. First he retrieved a pair of keys and an I.D. Keycard. Finally he found a beatiful Rapier lying in the rubble on the side of the building.

"Seth...you can keep that pistol...I have my prize.."

Rose was in the Max's lab, looking at the Lycan blood sample.

"So you have done it."

Max nodded. She ahd finally figured out a way to make a weapon that would temporarly stop Lycans from changing. Rose smiled widely.

"This is good news. I'll tell Seth."

Max grinned. "I have a feeling this war is going to be over by the time I have kids."

She laughed alittle.

"Well, let's hope not. Especially since I'm NEVER having kids. But I say it's done by the time YOU do."

"HAH...you're right, I cant imagine you with children. God knows how they would turn out. But...I would'nt go so far as to say you're never having kids...you never know what will happen."

Ever so slightly he eyes Max and Seth...looking back and forth between the two with a big grin on his face.

Rose tilted her head.

"What exactly are you.... OH MY GOD!" Rose got an expression on her face. She shrugged, smiling and hugged Travis.

"Did you work everything out?"

"You guys are gonna want to sit down, because you be standing up when I finished. Not only did we work out our differences, Derric here" he threw his arm around his son, who had still nothing to the others, "has informed me about everything we need to know for an assualt on the Lycan HQ. Its in the Financial District of the city, apprently a lot of the big name money makes are Lycan power figures, I figure if we can kill each one of them, we can kill the snake by lopping off its head. Dominic was one of them. There are thirteen more big-wigs left alive, so we've got our work cut out for us. However! Heres the cool part, I have the keys to Dominics personal lab, so we can laern anything and everything we want about Lycan physiology. Its gonna be a goldmine of information, who knows, we might even find a conventinal cure for a Lycan bite..."

Seth spun around confused.

"What's going on? Did I miss something?"

While Seth was confused, he happened to look at his arm. It was covered in scratches, probably from shoving his arm down that spiders mouth.

"Uh...guys. Is having Lycan saliva in me a good thing?"

Not thinking that he really did, Travis calmly said

"No, you run the risk of becoming the type that bit you if you do..."

Rose looked at Derric for a second. She wanted to be happy, but at the same time she felt something close to disgust.

Betraying his group. Derric had done that and she wondered just how trustworthy he was.

But she smiled. "That's great!"

Then she looked at Seth and smiled. "I guess I owe you a favor." She took his arm tenderly and put her mouth to the scratches, careful to keep her fangs withdrawn.

(How old is Derric? It seems odd the GM doesn't know...)

"Cause they brought over the spider that tried to kill me when I was in Iraq. I stuck a grenade down it's throat, but ummm...Lets just say I wasn't too delicate at extracting my arm, and some of his teeth dug into me..."

Max's stomach turned and she ran out of the room.

A few minutes later she walked back in, pale from having emptied her stomach. She made sure not to look in Seth's direction.

"There's just something... DISGUSTING about that." Max said.

"Digusting and dangerous..."

Travis whirlled around and held out Seths arm so he could se it.

"You run a 50% chance of becoming a....giant spider...Max..is there anything we can do!"

"Rose sucked out a bit of it. And yes, it is disgusting, but I owed that spider for taking 17 of my troops down."

He sat down.

"And besides. He's dead now."

"Yeah, let Rose suck it out." Max's face was still pale and she took a step back.

"Don't worry either: Rose can handle it."
