Well this is going to be interesting...

We've got healers; the drow elf is a cleric and my moon elf is a cleric/diviner (going for mystic theurge).

Being that Seluumiel is a priestess of Sehanine Moonbow we're going to have some conflict. The followers of Sehanine are charged with destroying the undead (with the exception of Baelnorns ect.), as the goddess holds such creatures as blasphemous. Just don't be surprised if Seluumiel attacks your minions (not trying to dissuade you, by the way).

This is going to be very interesting...

it's ok

I do other things to... does your hatred extend to deathless (They probably don't exist in this Campaign). or mindlessundeadwhoareusedforgood? and later Mummys... LG Mummys.

mmm... Baelnorn... that might be an appropriate thing to be instead of a lich...(which is what happens to a Dread at 20th lvl)

Serena Avoids using Evil undead... they never agree with her.

Oh we'll figure it out

Seluumiel will see most any undead as an abomination, save those precious few that prolong their lives to aid their kin (baelnorns).
I'm sure we can figure out a way to make it work.

well

Deathless do just so(Alas they probably do not exist) and Mummys are all about protecting... that what Serena uses them for, she uses undead to prolong the lives of the living. Why force the living to die, when the dead can do it for you?

(If Deathless do exist then I can create Deathless Skeleton... Wayyyy better.)
Anyways... I can't animate till 8th lvl, untill then everone will assume that I'm just a strange Sorceress.

Well...

Elves in general view the undead as unnatural, regardless of their intent. Followers of Sehanine have an even stronger view. The philosophical differences between the two should make things pretty interesting, a little contention is always a nice and spicy addition.
And that's a bridge we'll cross when you can animate.

Vote

Ok, This is addressed to Armada. I honestly do not know whether or not I should allow a Dread Necromancer into the game. I feel it would create too much conflict and break the game and the story down to a point where the game might "Fizzle" out. I've already lost one PC that I could not please without gaining the disdain of the majority of the group, and I don't want to be put in that position again.

So, I'm putting this to a vote. All those in favor of having a Dread Necromancer in the party, signify your agreement. All of those opposed, show your declination. I will be the tie breaker in the event of a tie. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and participation.

on last thing

Dread necromancers don't nessisaraly have to create undead... they are really touch specilists who smack things with inflict spells, and other nasty touch spells. so either way She won't be a useless party member, as I have found out in several games that have Undead haters.

And I never have to worry about undead.... I can kill them as easy as I can Animate them.

If its a nay, then I guess I'd like to play either a Kobold Archivist(Same book) or a human Dervish(Complete Warrior) or Kobold Nomad (Expanded Psionic handbook), but I'll look at that when the time comes. I'll build the Nec now, and send the background when it's done.

Nay

I'm going to have to agree with Ava on this, sorry. The more I've thought about it the more I'm seeing the inter character conflicts here to be problematic rather than interesting.

Necromancers play with dark energy to manipulate the powers of death. They hold the souls of the dead beyond the grave, keeping them from passing. Even if you are using the undead to keep the living alive you are still using the undead. No matter how you look at it a necromancer is a necromancer and I just don't see how a paladin and two good clerics would be able to work with someone that plays with the dead.

...well then

thats 3/5 (GM counts)so should I roll up

Ismik the Kobold Archivist (Buffs everyone) and sadly can't have his int of 22.

Zipa the Wanted (Spinning Warrior)

Tim the Telemage (Nomad/Elocator) Psion's kindove play like Arcane casters... But with Teleport!

Or make a Wizard... but the Above characters play so much Coooooler.

I'm making Tim... if he's bad tell me... but he's the best characte, with the best storyline... and the funnest to roleplay... and poof he goes.
and I will pay 10pts for the EXP and Races of Dragon

EDIT:
Tim the Telemage, Psion 5, specialty, Psychoportation.
Tim grrw up not far from a tribe of Blink dogs, eventully he joined this tribe and studied the dogs teleportation, Fasinated by the uses he could imagine, he eventully relized that through sheer force of will he could move, like the dogs through sheer force of will.
He left them that day, determined to maximise his power, so he could use it as often as he wants, he is already old from his years of reaserch, but thanks to being Dragonwroght, he is still able.

Tim is addicted to Teleportation, he uses it as often as he can get away with it, he dos't shirk from physical movement though, but if he can teleport he will.... Tim feels all powerful, and because of this is kinda... well an ass, he does what he want's, luckly Tim mostly wants to teleport... but if he ever wants to do something, he will.

Tim plans on using a sword to despach his foe, eventully, when he learns to use one.

Room for one more?

Hey so I was hoping that I might be able to jump in late in the game? I've got a 3 Ranger/2 Barbarian human that I've been wanting to play but the last game I rolled her up for fell through. I'm the one game at a time kind of gal and have found myself recently without a game.

I think so!

It's up to the DM ofcourse, but I think we have room for one more, and we were looking for a warrior.

No problem, Welcome

Just read and adhere strictly to the character creation guidelines in the Diabolic Genesis Q&A. Deucalion should be able to help you out on it.
