Ok Question

Al you say the potion/oil needs to be rubbed onto the Tree how about if the potion was injected directly into the Tree, would that not work also.
It would have added extra strength perhaps of being in the tree's 'bloodstream' so to speak.

hehe

well, the thing is, you guys don't know whether that would work or not. All you know is that it needs to be rubbed on. If other methods will work is a mystery. The question is: are you willing to take the risk of not rubbing?

(yep, I'm not going to make it easy for ya)

.

Well, there could be one easy way to do it. Sacrifice someone =P

make a break for it to the tree and no matter what you take, keep on going.

and so it begins

Alright, the final battle for this 'chapter' has begun. If you survive this, it will be the end of this part of the adventure, and there will be lots of rewards waiting for you on the other side of this fight. Act clever, work as a team and .. well .. don't die.

Good luck, my friends!

Um...

Cdn....we DID watch each other. We were ready for an ambush. That doesn't mean the ambush doesn't still happen!

And Almerin. Does the tree seem preoccupied with Geim? Draven should be within it's vines reach...yes? Yet it hasn't attacked him? I ask because if it's acting in a primitive, grab the first thing that comes to it and focus on that, then if Draven is moving around with it's range, and it hasn't attacked him, then, then hes going to move up to nimbly and ask for the flask. But hes going to be checking out the reactions of the willow-vines (and of course declaring dodge) before actually running up to it.

Geim's Entanglement

Are geim's arms free or are the upper armss captured with the branches around his dhest. Wither I have complete freedom with his arms or at least the lower arms can move. Wither way I can chop at the vines holding me or pass the pation on to Draven. BY the way is the potion in a bottle/glass or a flask/metal.

ah

Draven would not be attacked, since I ruled that Geim was the first one to set foot on the soiled ground, and therefore within reach of the tree. The tree does not seem preoccupied with Geim specifically though.

Though Geim is being grappled, his arms and legs are free. The entanglement is around his chest and there only. The ointment is in a glass vial... which can be thrown... but it could also break. I do have to remind you that you are being jerked around and it would not be easy to just drop the vial where you want.

updates

well, I updated, but I'm not very happy with the situation. Some of you guys are on the edge or heading towards being on the edge of death. What I mean is that hit points go fast in this kind of battle. Help each other out, and don't forget to post. I rule that no post is no action.
