Ula Siddha

Here's my character per Fletch - hope to have a post up soon.

Name: Ula Siddha - The Old One
Race: Fey
Class: Sorcerer/Druid

Deep within the wild jungles dwell the ancient Uira, the fey people of the rain forest. Not fully of this world nor the next the Uira move freely between the mortal world and the dream world, the world between the worlds. The faeries possess an exotic grace and beauty; copper skinned with dark hair and color shifting eyes that glow with an inner light. Like all fey peoples they have a terrible fear of cold forged iron, and will descend with fury on any they know possessing the dreaded metal. Ageless and timeless they live long, longer than perhaps even dragons. Born of magic they are deeply connected to the land. Though magical and timeless they may be, few remain in this world as over the ages many stepped into the world of dreams never to return. Isolated in the depths of the wilds of the jungles they have been forgotten and have slowly began to fade from the world of men.

Of the jungle faeries that remain Ula Siddha, the old one, still walks the mortal world. Magic flows through the veins of the fey, and this could not be more true than in Ula. She spins gossamer charms and illusions with unmatched ease, and calls to the winds and rains. Ula is ageless and beautiful with smooth copper skin, long dark hair, and almond shaped color shifting eyes that glow faintly. Since leaving the jungle for the lands of the north she has learned to hide her lineage at times, for any who capture a faery can demand a wish be granted. Ula often takes the form of an old crone named Maeve or a golden haired human maiden named Sara.

Miriele'ilsifea

Miriele’ilsifea

Elven Maiden, combination, Fighter/Ranger /Scout/ aiming for Order of the Bow sinitiat.

Miri has been a member of the forest guard for years but for years she has be yearning to go out into the world of the non-elves. Her brothers tales of the outside world made her want to experience it for herself. Tending her resignation to the forest guard she sets foot on the path out of the forest. Her first stop was a small village that clung to the fringes of the forest. She choose her two best elven steeds Moondancer a dappled silver dun stallion, a golden chestnut with flaxen mane and tail to take with her and a horse to alternately ride or pack. Her animal companion is a very large smoky black wolf she had rescued from death and raised.

History
Her family has served the elven court for generations in many capacities. Her father as a court councilor, her mother a court bard, her brother worked to for the court but there were many times h could not tell Miri what he was doing or why. She had every advantage of her birth into a high elven house but her own spirit loved the natural world better. Once she reached adulthood she served as one of the elven ranger and forest guardians.

Description
Miri is tall for an elf female about 5’6”, slender, with a natural grace of her race and a clearly evident wiry strength. Her hair is a rich bronze blonde with golden highlights. Her eyes are golden as well with dark rings around the irises. Like a hawk’s, or very like her wolf’s. Her skin is creamy with a faint golden tone. She wears natural colors that blend into her surrounding when traveling but when she has a chance to “dress” up she loves the rich jewel tones of spider silk gowns, especially Imperial green and crimson. Two of which are pack away in her pack. Their advantage is that they roll up to something mot much larger that an a thick pair of socks and when unrolled soon hang without a wrinkle.

Traits
More to come later

Hello

Great job so far on the intros! Just by the by, I thought I'd mention it's ok to use my character and any of the ones I come up with in your rp's. I won't freak out. Promise

please no

What's the post-count per week going to be? Looks like it's moving really fast, and I will not be able to keep up a fast paced game.

So is this just the beginning burst of rp-energy, or will this keep up?

Character info: Name: Jonathan Longward
Race: Human
Class: Bard

Description:
Jonathan is a young man of 21 summers, handsome and full of life. He seems carefree and frevolous, and is always in a good mood. His light reddish-brown hair is kept quite short, drawing full attention to his bright eyes. He is a master of all string instruments and has a voice like a refreshing spring. He is the embodiment of enthusiasm and adolescent ignorant stupidity.

Blast

I'm voting for the surge of RP energy, lol. Post count after this little introduction scenario, I'd say 1-4/wk minimum. I for one am going to be busy most of the average week, this has just been an exception. Glad to see you guys joining in!

eh

You are saying 1 to 4 posts per week minimum? I won't be able to keep up with that at all. Or did you mean 1 post every 4 weeks? Which would seem very slow.

I can do 1, maybe 2 posts a week, but not more. Not with other games going on, and having to read other people's work as well. I don't read or type fast.

Rephrase

Ok, let me clarify a little. My communication skills sometimes not so good. Minimum of 1 post/week, but you can do however many you get time for, and I'm pretty lenient, so if you can't make your 1 a week, just let me know so I know what to expect. This is, after all, all in the name of fun, so no worries about minimums so much, just do what you can, and if you can't do it every week, that's ok too.

Brianna, I edited your previous post so that everybody could read the commands and replies to your smokewolf creature. You shouldn't put words between these: <, because it tends to mess up the code of your post and make everything in between unreadable. Instead, you could look up Scarab's tutorial on html in the common room (should be one of the first items there), and make the text italic, or something. That would work a lot better.

Hey, I know you mentioned in the other thread that there isn't a definite level or level cap for the characters. And I know this is "only" (don't get me wrong) a freeform game. But say I wanted to create a druid (I know there's already one), then the character's shapechanging capabilities would be limited by his or her level. Or would you rather skip such rules and play by heart?

Okay and the edit thanks for the information. I have always used the arrows to show mental thoughts, in this case telepathy between my companion and I.

On another note, Smoky is a real wolf a rather large hybrid. I wouldn't assume to take anything so outre as a shadow or smoke based creature--though that is king of a cool idea though, .

Druid

I would definitely say play by heart. But, like I said earlier, these characters are pretty middle of the road, not horribly overpowered, so unless you're shapechanging into a monster polar bear with three heads, it'll be fine. When in doubt, run it past me. Don't be afraid to ask, I'll probably say it's ok unless it's just something too far out there, but not a lot's too far out there for me.
