As he flew overhead, he saw Artura leaving into the woods. He dropped down behind her a good distance from the camp.

"Whats bothering you?"

He was covered in blood.

"I have no purpose. And you are... dirty."

Beroo slipped out of Rajini's grasp and followed Artura, silent as he could be. He stayed hidden in the trees as he saw her start speaking to the archangel, who was covered in blood.

Maybe he shouldn't tug that one's wings.

"No purpose?" the blood ran down his red armor, belnding in almost.

"You have all the purpose in the world to me..."

Artura looked at him with her glowing eyes. "What do you mean?"

"I mean....that..." he tried to come up a good ecuse, he couldn't tell her the truth. That would make him weak.

"Look what you did for me when no one else would?"

"So?" Artura tilted her head down a bit, looking away.

Beroo knew exactly what he was talking about.

For some reason, he giggled. It wasn't loud, but clearly audible. His grin disappeared as he realized they probably heard it.

"And if you aren't here...who's going to do it again? No one else, thats for sure..."

He was cut oof by a gigggle...

"Who are you." he said harshly, drawing his bloodstained sword.

Artura looked into the trees and sniffed.

"Come out kender."

Beroo was amazed.

How did she know!

As he came bouncing out of the trees, he was talking a thousand miles an hour.

"Hi, I'm bobledoboingyberoo! Can I pull your wings? Cool sword. Oh, you're a demon. Do you have a cool tail?"

Artura blinked. "Np, I don't have a tail, just weird snake eyes." The crimson irises seemed to expand.

"Annoying little pest isn't it?" Roy grimaced as the Kender hopped about, examining his wings.

"I have half a mind to stab it already..."

"No, it's not worth it." Although Artura had to force herself not to kick the stupid thing in it's crotch.

Beroo looked at them.

"Well, you two looked busy. So, I'm gonna go talk to the werewolf more. She liked me. Oh, by the way, these belong to one of you two."

He handed back a hair clip and a knife.
