Oh god, this is creepy.

Rajani's face was beginning to be tinged with red.

"I have no use for men, or anyone, for that matter. Leave me be."

She began to back away slowly.

Really

He moved so quickly, he was a blur. He was behind her in an instant, and he held her arm with his bare hand.

"I wouldn't say so, everyone needs someone...please, at least come with me back to my camp. We have a warm fire and good company."

He stepped back, releasing her hand, but not moving far enough away to be safe should she decide to strike at him.

Yeah.

She thought for a moment, and noticed he'd knocked her apple into the dirt when he'd grabbed her. He was losing points fast in this game. But, it would save her from a night of sleeping in trees, so...

"...Fine. Try anything, anything at all, and I can't promise you'll live to see the dawn."

Heh

"I can deal with that...you'd be suprised how...persuasive I can be..."

He moved in front of her, still hiding his wings.

"Follow me my love, your new home awaits."

On the way back he stumbled across an apple tree and plucked several from it. Tossing one over his shoulder at her. He suspected she caught it, but he didn't look back to see.

"Sorry about your apple..."

Bah...

She had caught it, leaning back and almost falling to do so. She had thoughts that told her to run while she still had the chance, but she followed a few feet behind him anyway.

"S'fine. S'just an apple."

Her Irish-like accent was more prominent in her weariness. She tried to keep her temper under wraps. She could leave before dawn and no one would be the wiser.

So

"Where do you come from? Where are you headed?"

He turned around and walked backward, his extrasensory capabilities allowing him to see behind him.

"Beautiful young thing like you out in the forest...why, you can't be anything over sixteen...all alone out here, no one to protect you."

He wasn't bothering trying to hide who he was this time. She knew that the instant she saw him. Now, he was only toying with her. Once again he thought to himself, 'I always get what I want...'

Now he had three women to choose from...perhaps he could take all three at once...a feat, but not impossible. He'd done it before.

She shook his head. This one was tough. Odd. Women like her, so young and naive, usually melted right away, no fight, no questions. She was awfully tough. For a second he considered whether he would actually get what he wanted from her, then he almost laughed. Of course he would. In all his life, he'd never met a woman who said no.

He was, after all, an Arch Angel. Arch Angels were the most beautiful creatures in the known universe, rivaling the gods themselves. He ran his right hand along his shoulder. Perfect.

He had perfect skin, perfect hair, perfect teeth, a perfect face. He had always considered himself the most attractive being on the planet. As far as he knew, even the other Arch Angels weren't as good looking as he was. His body was perfectly constructed, all of it; particularly the parts that mattered.

Morning edits, lawl.

She looked at her feet as she walked, as usual, and in a tone one might use to attempt to persuade a toddler that two plus two was indeed four, she answered:

"I come from my mother, and I'm headed to the grave."

Well

"What comes in between? I'm sure you can work me in there somewhere..."

He smirked again, as usual. He knew already it was hopeless. This woman seemed extremely resitant to his charm, and his looks. He might not be able to have her. He already sensed it, but why let that ruin the fun of hitting on her?

...

Her ears twitched, a frown furrowing her forehead. This was precisely why she didn't like other people. They just couldn't nose out, even when they knew they weren't welcome.

"Only if you're the one digging the hole."

Hey

"I can deal with that, I'm pretty good at rooting around...and they say I get down there deep as well."

He decided it was enough of his banter.

"But on a more serious note, why is someone like yourself out here alone...and what is your name?"

Oh dear, that's what she said.

She rolled her eyes and replied, "If you must know, I'm a Ranger... I just like wandering. Alone. And..." She paused, not sure if her name was the proper thing to reveal, but sighed.
"I'm Rajani."

Well

He slowed down and allowed her to make pace with him.

"On a less sexual note, my name is Roy. It is a pleasure to meet you."

Why is your subject always "Well"?

She nodded at him. "You as well."

Well.... (>^o^<)

"Well then, it's good to know you have some heart in you."

He smiled. It was a pretty rude joke, but at this point he figured her opinion of him wasn't going to get much worse.

"So, just walking through the forest huh...and you didn't come to stop by?"

Aww! Lookit the faaace!

She glared at him.

"I thought you were having too much fun with your lassie, aye? I ought not interrupt." She gave him a nasty grin, like she had not at all done this out of kindness.
