Klingon mutiny

If you're successful at Klingon mutiny you get a promotion. That doesn't sound too bad just be the mutinous xo with a battleth.

Sweet I just noticed I'm no longer a newbie

Warp core research

So before I go digging through all the canon would any of you have a link that described in detail the specs for the warpcore? Maybe have a diagram?

*Looks at Eol*

Well...

...try this for starters Ion. Warp Core at Memory-Alpha.

A decent, albeit smallish, schematic for a warp core can be found here.

Does that help?

But I was always disappointed in the dominant prison!

Just for fun...I've prepared a new version of my last post for your enjoyment. Courtesy of Translation Party

Edit: Warning! May make your head hurt!
(I'm posting this in the form
Original Paragraph Updated Paragraph)

Stardate: 2368.04.10
Time: 14:00
USS Discovery, Main Engineering Security Post
4513.3:2368 April 10 Time: 14 security issues in marine engineering, the image was found 14 times
A quick nod and a quiet 'as you were' to the Ltjg on duty were all Nick indulged in before heading to the terminal. Additional messages to go out: Informing the other department heads who their security officers for the next voyage would be, and asking if any of them had problems with the deployment. Average stuff. A check for a reply from their illustrious captain... which hadn't come. Sui 『Kaya with you before, she had a terminal hooked Ltjg all, I agree with Nick and working quietly. If you are teaching for the next voyage chief and other sectors, additional message: move the security personnel, and will endeavor to introduce these issues. Average raw. Check out a brilliant response from the captain did not come ....
Almost as though he doesn't approve of me running background checks... Almost as though it's some sort of illicit hobby I need to break myself out of. Heh... 'Suspicious Bastards Anonymous' would be a great idea for a holodeck program. In any part of the hobby, many poor people may be able to check the background - you need to get him. The heh ... 'This is a suspicious Anonymous' Aideahorodekki not been a great program that is connected.
The usual scanning of his current business. Lieutenant (jg) Valkriss remained the only drain on his brig spaces. As usual, he scans the current business. Lieutenant () Buriggusupesu Valkriss jg He remains the only outflow.
Mmmm, Klingons. Keep on making me look like I've got good self control, Lieutenant! Well, Klingon. To me, a good self-control, so please look at the lieutenant!
She had a good five days until her release. Maybe he'd get the counsellor to look her over, in the hopes of getting her let out a couple of days early? Nothing personal about Valkriss She is a good five days. How he or she is probably the case that young are not the only one to display, in a few days? Nothing personal about Valkriss (whom he'd met once when she was first incarcerated on the Discovery), but he knew from personal experience it was always disappointing to miss the start of a voyage because you were in the brig. If the cruise to meet Brigadier General (he was, Discovery Channel, first from her personal experience), but I was always disappointed in the dominant prison.
Which just left... Drills. Jack gets to schedule attack drills. Vulcan Guy - I'll learn his name eventually! - gets to schedule medical drills. Callie gets to use actual drills. I get to do boarding drills - and I do have a new ensign to break in... This training drill attack .... please get the schedule for the jack on the left. Barukangai - I finally learn their names! - Get the medical training schedule. Callie gets to use a drill in practice. Even if I was flying - I do not mind a new flag for the rest of the ... ... A grin slowly spread across Nick's face. Everyone loves getting to pretend to board the ship. Likewise, everyone hates us running mock phaser battles through their department. So... which other department head has been naughty... and which has been nice? Nick was a slow smiling face. I love to pretend to get everything on the board. Similarly, no one actually does not run like a phaser fight. So ... I was a department head or other mischief.
...to me? ... Me?
He could pass out the chance to run around with stun phasors raisin' hell based on favouritism. But he'd already gotten Jack and the Tactical officers to do his first such drill, when he'd taken over as Security Chief. To hell, raisin, 'Phasors to stun him, you can pass the execution to avoid the possibility of unfairness. However, as the first training, I'm Jack, a former bodyguard of chief strategy officer, he already has after all. Which left... Med, Sci, Eng, or Ops. Med's and Ops' chiefs were both new transfers, and he tended to avoid the Eng and Sci chiefs if he could help it. So he was a little stumped. Or, on the left ..., medicine, science, engineering, or cooperation. This action, Fukui Tifonetto to avoid future scientific leaders of the new headquarters, he can best help him. His little confusing.
What else is a counsellor for, if not to help with such problems? , Counselor, or something is wrong
It was easy enough sending a notification to the counsellor that he was on his way up to her now. Well, the easiest way to open the counselor will be sending her information about him.
And if she has other plans for this evening? So much the better. It means she won't waste time asking me about my feelings. I have a holographic counsellor for that. Noone minds if I smash a holographic counsellor's head in with a meditation lamp. And other plans, this evening, I, I, I, you and your girlfriend? Much better. She felt wasted my time listening. I need to consult a counselor for the hologram. So Horogurafikkukaunsera people, many of the headlights is an advanced meditation of my heart.
Time: 14:30
USS Discovery, Counsellor Constantine's Office
Time: 14:30 spacecraft, Constantine Counselor Office
Okay, Nick. You can do this. Go in, complete your self-assigned task, and get out with as few lectures as possible. All you have to do is act normal. Well, Nick. You can do this. Allocation of tasks to complete the move of some of my classes. And, if all the cases, the usual.
Hell, that's never going to work. You act about as well as a paraplegic ballet dances. The hell is not going to work. Please ballet dancing as well as paralysis, your behavior.
A resigned sigh, and Nick quickly hit the door chime to the counsellor's office. If he had to meet up with her, he might as well get it over with. In his hands he held a PADD - it contained the instructions one of the other department heads would need to form up an Opposing Force for him. Office, shortness of breath, Doachaimukaunsera resign Nick said. For example, he has to overcome it, you can see him. PADD, holding his hands - one in the field of 1,1,2,1,2,1,2-length one, the other two I 2 and at least two three steps 1 and 2 one of the group is required Getting the counsellor to pick which one got it would add a whole new level of complexity to the exercise - as not only would he not know the exact day and time of it all, but he wouldn't know who he'd be fighting, either. He, in addition to a whole new level, the counselor for all three compounds in a single - not known with any date, has published the exact time.
Still, no matter. If he couldn't beat a penpusher, a doctor, an engineer or a scientist in a combat drill, he didn't deserve to lead a security department anyway. Still, regardless. If he, doctors, engineers, scientists fight penpusher trained to win, he does not deserve to lead the security department anyway.

What IS she wearing!!?

Okay... had to post this here.

I've been doing my 'homework' and last night I finished watching the first season of ST:TNG

However... I am weary of starting up season two because if I have to look at Counsellor Troi in that hideous jumpsuit with the big 'v' around her middle that does nothing but make her look fat I might scream. She fixed her hair... that first episode was... scary to say the least with the frizz going on atop her head... but I almost preferred the miniskirt and 'Pretty Woman' boots she was wearing to the jumpsuit she has had on since.

*le sigh*

Alright... enough fashion gripping about a fictious world from Meri.

Uniform

Somewhere down the road they gave Troi some character development and she started wearing the uniform which improved the look.

But I would have voted for the mini skirt and "thigh highs". I'd vote twice even.

Series 1

First series of TNG is not Trek's finest area. For me, it gets really good in series 3.

Season 3

Tends to be the season that makes or breaks Trek series. There's two Trek series that didn't make it to 7 season runs - TOS and ENT - both of which had poor 3rd seasons.

Contrast that with the list of Trek series with poor 1st and 2nd seasons - TNG, VOY, ENT... and depending on your view, DS9.

So TNG got its act together just in time... as did VOY, somehow. I still can't believe they suckered me into watching Neelix for seven years.

TOS, on the other hand, was kinda screwed by it's drop in funding... and form.
