Confusion regarding spell lists

I've noticed something recently that strikes me as odd, and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the matter and help me out. Both the Beguiler and the Duskblade [maybe others, but these are the two I have noticed] list 0-level spells in their spells per day tables, and it is very specific in the class descriptions that their spells are pulled from the spell lists bearing the classes name. Neither spell list has any 0-level spells listed however. So would the 0-level spells the character supposedly knows just be pulled from the wizard's list, or are their no 0-level spells because there are none on their spell list?
Is there errata clearing this up somewhere, or something I missed perhaps?

A little help, maybe... very little...

In any experience I've ever had, 0-level spells equivocate to cantrips (just small, little, "I-learned-these first" parlor tricks and such)... I know I've seen 0-lvl spell lists somewhere before... just can't recall where, atm... I'll prowl and see what I can come up with for ya, though.

Uh

I'm staring at the PHB2 (source for beguiler and duskblade) and the beguilers clearly have their 0-levels listed there.

Beguiler is on page 11 top right.

The duskblade does seem to be missing cantrips. Interesting.

oh

It is possible I overlooked the Beguiler spells, but that still leaves the hole in the Duskblade list. And if you read the Spells section of the Duskblade he starts with x 0-level spells depending on his bonus, yet where are these 0-levels pulled from?

EDIT: I feel astronomically stupid now, I found the Duskblade list as well. My problem was I was looking at the list in the Magic chapter of the book, not the class description. So this is resolved, I am officially an idiot, and we can all go about our days as if I never opened my mouth.

Hey!

Look it's someone else's turn with the dunce cap!

I think I was still wearing mine from when I asked if anyone knew of a good place to find an Elven/English translator... and had to remove my foot from my mouth when Eol pointed out the one in our vault.

Thanks Wolf!

M.

Damint

I just found the Duskblade after I posted that and meant to edit it in. I knew it had to be somewhere, because I had a duskblade and I definately cast spells.

Duskblade

I've always wanted to play a Duskblade, never gotten a chance to though. The class reminds me, quite fondly I might add, of a watered down Redmage from Final Fantasy. I can see in my head doing enough cross-classing and Prestiging into something that makes me all nostalgic and happy for the days of classic, class-based, Final Fantasy goodness.
