As soon as I get an introduction from Brianna I'm ready to update. I'll wait until Monday, unless I happen to have a job by Monday, then I'll wait until I have time.

How high are the pedestals?

Probably should have made that clearer, but everyone is in the room, it is a bit of a team building exercise as well. The pedestals stand maybe 4 feet tall, just out of the reach of a small character like a halfling. And yes, this means you are all locked in a room with no way out in sight with a wolf who may or may not take too kindly to being "caged". That all depends on the druid though.

Did Lord Varen have a sword on him when we met him?

Ion, Varen in fact did not have a sword on him in the throne room. And while I fully applaud your logic, I must admit that is not what I had in mind. But a good DM knows how to think on his feet, and I intend to do just that.

Brianna, where exactly are you searching, and for anything in specific beyond the obvious that you are seeking an exit?

First the walls visually and tactically then the ceiling then the floor Search check, Spot check, whatever else applies her natural ractial abilities.

By-the-way, have we lost the other players beside Ion. None of them have posted since the hiatus.

I'm not sure what the status is on the other players, I'll give them some time though since I work all weekend.

Being working on a post, but I've been a bit busy the last couple days. I designed lights for a dance show that's going up in.... 22 hours and that's sucked up a huge chunk of my time. Now that we're so close, there's not really a whole lot more I can do. Plus I've got all the the light cues programmed into the light board so I can free some space for character stuff.

Should be able to finish tonight. Also, no fair giving away that "I pick all three" wasn't the right answer. Stole some of my thunder.
