AVATAR ~ The Future of 3D

OK, this film is so worth watching and watching in 3d.

Amazing stuff, I was totally blown away by it.

Those of you who have seen it lets discuss it and the tech behind it, those who haven't seen it...

!GO AND SEE IT!

EDIT: If this film doesn't look your cup of tea (because for some reason you don't like the sci-fi and fantasy elements contained in the film) then anyone in the world who can go would still be able to appreciate the cinematography, graphics and general 3Dness of the film.

Basically if you don't like the film itself then your should be able to appreciate the technical elements, just a warning though, some of the faster scenes and most of the action scenes can be hard on your eyes due to rapid movement etc.

Hmm

I can't even begin to tell you how apathetic I am in regards to this film. But it's not my thing, and I understand that others can love it, and I respect your opinion and which to offer you a cookie.

LOL

It's 1:30 am on Christmas morning and I just got back from the theater after seeing this in 3-D myself.

At the first ads for it I was not excited at all and was pretty certain it was going to suck.

I will admit the story line is a bit cliche and predictable. However it is simply beautiful and kept my attention throughout the whole thing.

I do recommend it and I do recommend going and seeing it 3D at the theatre too!

Now I'm going to go crash!

M.

Recommend seeing it.

It's Fern Gully meets Dances with Wolves.... in Space. Nothing new as far as story telling goes, but it's far from a bad story. However, OMG is it beautiful. Incredible creatures and landscape. I've seen it both in 3D and standard formats, and the 3D is the better of the two. But even if you don't want to spring the extra 2-5 dollars for 3D, it's still an amazing movie to look at.
