hmm

I had that concern too, but remember most of the tabletop scenes will be reusable to a degree, so that should cut down on some of the work, right?

But yea, echoing concerns of "dude that looks like a lot of work"

another question

How old is the group? I had placed them all around 23-25 - with Tim somewhere in his early 40's.

Now it seems like they range early-to-late 30's, only a few years shy of the old mage. It is definitely refreshing to see them in a more lifelike state. Amy and Dalana especially lol

Damn

So the giants were only for show? Curses.

My dream of now massive gamers crouching low about the miniature table is shattered.

Niiiiice work!

As much as I enjoyed Tianna's work on the strip, I'm looking very forward to seeing LD come back with new art... especially now that I've seen this...

I like it

Loke it that LD is getting started again. A few comments on the art:

Like your Dalana
Tim is good
Love Aranion's armour (particularly the eyes)

Could you give Steve a bit more of an evil or satisfied smile? He strikes me as the type of person who likes it when his plans go his way and enjoys tormenting player/characters.

Armor

The Armour is very simplified, just to make it easy to draw again and again. When it comes to designing armor I like to make it very complicated with lots of little details, so it was hard coming up with a simple but OK looking alternative.

if the rest of the inn forgives me for the short posts

I like the design, complex designs are nice but simple ones are sometimes the best.

I am a big fan of the saying 'Keep it simple stupid.'

That's a big sword!

Do I detect a love of Amime in your work? I see traces of Inuyasha.

Anime?

Ew... I hate Inuyasha. It's the same story line every 15 episodes. =/

Way back when, I used to watch a lot of Anime. (Older series, such as Slayers, Angel cop, Bubble gum crisis, macross or tank police) and it started me drawing. I've been trying to get the anime out of my style but it's a hard battle. I would consider myself more fusion or comic based than anime. =P

Due to hordes of idiot fans I don't watch anime any more, or at least not ones brought over here. I watch Japanese TV (love their comedy) and see some anime from time to time- but I only speak basic Japanese so it's hard to follow some times.

*DROOL!*

I think that Will Save DC to keep my composure just went up a notch! Now I'm eagerly anticipating what you can do with the Monsters.

My hopes are soaring for the new look of Loaded Dice!

no offense intended

I would agree with your assessment of Inuyasha. My daughter is a big fan and I have been kidding her for years about the same episodes over and over.

Looking forward to seeing yoru work. Hope your Wacom gets better soon.
