Yei

Very nice posts again Madscirat!

I probably won't be able to post this weekend, but I'll drop in a post on Monday.
In the meanwhile here's a quick picture of Gortag. It's not exactly what I wanted though.
Should've put in some scars and a nastier look on his face. That'll be version two, maybe.

Story Update

Love the Gortag picture.

On posts, I will probably let the players write another consecutive scene in the vampire and halfdragon storylines. If I jump in it will be in the later. I want to see a bit more of the vampire before I start contributing there. Scenes that I do about Gleech should not be taken as something that needs response. If you want to work your character into them and can then by all means, but I am mainly doing them to give everyone a sense of place.

Hiya

Post nearly finished. But I'd like to know one thing. How long has actually passed since the glory days of Gortag and Seluraiiel? Roughly would do, thank you. Centuries? Millenia? I'm not saying Gortag would know exactly, but he might be able make an educated guess from the state of the temple or something.

Apologies

Sorry about the delayed and short post, been working a lot, and had little free time.

Arena

Great post Crowe. Your editing could use some help but damn if you don't always add some colorful detail to the world. Your posts help alot with creating a mood for Gleech and the monstrous world at large. I took your Arena idea and ran with it btw. Its my favorite of my posts so far and u definitely inspired it, so thanks.

PS Is the medusa the client you are representing against the Blue Wyrm or a different one?

Edited

Sorry about the typos, should have read it over once before submitting. I just finished editing it now though. The Blue was representing a Yuan-ti. I didn't want to get bogged down in details with actual case work. The Medusa is a new client, one that he's just taken on. So it could be the Blue again, or it could be something else. I'm pretty terrible at coming up with names, so I've just said the Medusa, and the Yuan-ti, and the Blue Wyrm, I can work on that if it gets confusing.

Oh Duh

Oh right the Yuan-ti. I need to start taking some notes so I remember these details

New post?

I'm happy to just keep narrating, but I feel a little lost not having had any contact. Should I just hold off making any posts until the dwarf and the elf make it to the city? (I'm assuming they're headed that direction) I feel a little funny just kind of telling my own story in the middle of yours.

:)

I too am eager to post more and will probably drop in a background post at some point. Right now however there's not much Gortag can do other than move out. A post from Nimu would be nice.

DM responses

Crowe: Yeah I noticed this problem. I think you are fine to keep narrating your story. You are helping to set the mood in the city. Once drama starts happening there then you'll have more challenges that require my responses to your actions. So far you haven't faced any real challenges so I haven't needed to intervene. Also I have avoided adding to your storyline as I did with the halfdragon's because you already have many elements to it and I don't want to make it too confusing.

Remember you can always prompt a response from me by writing your character into a challenging scenario or leaving a cliffhanger at the end of your scene. I will take the hint.
