It is start higher than what you want and you'll usually end up nearer to it than otherwise. I'm hoping that the Barter skill and the fact that Potter appears to be a businessman (and is likely used to the whole negotiation process) makes it so he doesn't cough up a laugh and walk away.

Sam is perfectly happy to let Wyatt do the bulk of the negotiating, of course, but I figured that he'd also recognize Potter's paranoia and make the offer of taking the "roundabout" way... with the bump up in cost to offset fuel and stores consumption and, maybe, the implication of discretion, as well...

Feeling the slowdown of wits that accompanies a heavy meal, Wyatt had taken his leave of the ranch to attend to captainy things. Things such as double-checking maintenance reports, searching out potential business leads on the cortex, check up on the latest news (especially as is pertinent to Roc), and catch up on communications with those that would still deign to speak with him. This is how the afternoon is spent, nary any interaction with anyone as to whom he don't have to engage.

Running on fumes lately. Having a lot of sleep issues for the last few weeks. Nothing different from the sleep issues I have had all my life but normally I get a break here and there. This has been three week of constant early waking.

Anyway, enough of my whining. I may post the counter offer from Saul since it doesn't effect the other story lines.

Was at the doctor's yesterday, had another blood draw. Trying to find out why my joints are inflamed and creating lots of pain.

Was starting to look like old Grandpa Amos from the Real McCoy's. A bit better now.

Getting old sucks, I recommend you avoid it at all costs.

I am looking at Wednesdays being my posting day as I have free time in the evening and a laptop now. As well, Wed is my "rest day" from working out. I am currently training for the CN Tower stair climb (1776 stairs).

It seems that I post most often on Sundays. Kicked back in my leather La-z-boy, laptop on my lap and nothing much on TV.
