Very nice!

heh

Flaming swords require magic, not shenanigans.

Haven't you ever been to a Ren Faire?

*gets a dreamy look* I still remember that lovely half dressed hunk of a man playing with that flaming whip... the beads of sweat glistening off him...

Ummm... was that off topic?

Very off topic

Personally I would question the effectiveness of a wineskin. I think the player may get a quick lesson in the "wick" effect.

hush

You can't squash all player ingenuity. The flaming sword goes too far, but c'mon, dude... it's a game with a hit point pool, for crying out loud.

...says the guy who gripes about realism all the time...

:)

It doesn't have to last long, now does it? Then again even if it might work, it could easily go terribly wrong. Let's say that I wouldn't exactly encourage my players to try it either.

But once again a very nice strip. Thanks guys!

Where here I heard this before?

Maybe he should try a flaming Shish-kabob, the DM might go for that, lol.

I like this comic because it is so true to what happens on those late night gaming sessions.

barrels

On the scene with the Barrels, please give any feed back. (Aside from the background being plain, I know that already! lol) I was trying a new painting style with it an am wondering how it looks to other people.

For the record...

...I thought the barrels looked really good.

Liked the "angle of the shot", the "lighting", etc. Definitely would have known it was barrels of somethng even w/out the narration.

Reminds me of our games.

Well, I'm really use to table top minitures and constructions. The barrels and creates remind me of those we use, so it clicks really well with me. I don't know what effect you were looking for, but it works for me.

Mang I completely missed this coming out. This one is too true too. That was a ridiculous sounding sentence.
