Yes Sir!

You're the Captain, you make the final plan!

I'm open to not being shot on sight.

Where's Elan when you need him?

Plan

Well I guess there is another option if we aren't going use the dead guy to get in the castle.

If we are stopping to do a bit of recon outside first Doc could use the dead guys uniform, he just needs to use the cold water from the bucket to rinse the blood from the collar and find a fresh shirt. Then we would have three in uniformed and two in plain cloths with Gestapo style leather coats.

Captain could say to something like "Thanks Doc, but we can't risk you that way. Rinse as much blood out that guys coat and suit up in his gear."

Also we need to open the brief case and have Sarge read the documents, that could have our real key to the Castle, reason to be there.

No need to sing, "Bluff, bluff, the stupid Nazis."

Sorry Brutal, you missed your chance.

Then I get to keep my guns!

alright

We'll stick to the plan you first opted, but after the last guard post we go a different route.

And I think there is no way to predict what our situation will be at that point, so there's no real point in waiting any longer.

I do agree on the briefcase however, and the captain will ask Romo to open it on the way.

I didn't want to put in another post in the game with only a few lines. I think we're ready to move on.

Pile in..........

Did anyone happen to check if this is a staff car or a sports car? It might be tough getting six people and a dead body in a two seat roadster. The guys in the leather may have to stand on the running boards and hang on.

Went back and looked up the car.

On Stewart's watch, he sees a black car pass heading south. It is a fancy car, convertible four seater with a long front.
Still going to be a tight fit.

Indy

Think the Black cars during the big chase scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Nazi Cars

Cool.. that was a '36 Mercedes 320 in the chase scene when Indy had the big Truck.

I think that will fit most of us but yea it will be tight fit for all.

Road Trip..................

Made a short post to move the plot along a bit. I need a bit more from the Captain to story build. I left thing really open so everyone has a chance to add their two cents.

The plan

Okay. I would very much like to post tonight to move you to the first .... encounter.

However, there has been a lot of back and forth on the plan so can someone please clarify for me what you are doing? Is Reid losing guns or keeping? Is anyone hiding in the truck? Will you leave McGuiness in the tree?

Thanks.

well

I don't really think Doc needs to lose the gun, as long as he can keep it hidden.

So, we're all going in the car, if it fits we'll use the seats. If it doesn't fit, we'll use trunk space to keep anybody there.

McGuinness will be riding with us, even though maybe we need to cut down the tree since he grew so attached to it and might want to take it with him for extra camouflage.

Edit: I don't really have time to post right now, and I don't think a reply is necessary to move on. We're ready to roll.

Well I'm still confused

Am I or am I not dressed as a German officer? and if not then what am I dressed as and what is my role?. Other then Van I'm the only one who speaks fluent german and I can see how it will go at the front gates. I really doubt the guards if they are SS will tke the word of a strange lady they have never seen before even if the officer is bleeding and if he is not known to them or stationed at the castle they may not let us in until they get permission from one of thier own officers and that will take time, time we may not have.
I asked this question last week and have been quietly waiting for an answer.

sure

You can wear the officer's uniform. Brutal is the driver, and the rest is just dressed with the left overs. Our weapons will be out of sight but within reach. Van will be driving shotgun for one, the rest can make up where they sit themselves. Luke will be in the back, since, as you stated, doesn't speak German and doesn't need to be in questioning range.

Like I said at the beginning of this game: I'm your Captain, but I will not be held responsible for everybody's actions in the game, alright? That makes me feel like I'm calling the shots on stuff that people can make up themselves (like who is sitting where in the car).

Institute

This is the time of the year for my workplace's big conference. I would like to believe I will have free time but in truth, I will be knee deep in work until Feb 5th. I will try to post if I can but expect me to be out until then.

Papers, paper, we don't need no sticking papers....

Well here's our chance to back post on Sarg going through the Major's papers and the briefcase.

"Bluff, bluff the stupid guards!"

Thoughts

Folks, I am playing a quasi-NPC, and I am also the only "civilian" in the car, so I do not feel comfortable taking the lead here.

My thoughts are that as a German citizen, I have my identification papers and will have them at the ready if needed. What the soldiers are demanding, however, are the orders clearing the Major to enter a restricted area. We would have probably found those in the briefcase if anyone has searched it
