plus

Due to work, Vanadia will be out of town fior the next week and a half which makes me single dad for that time. If I find a moment when the kids are asleep and I'm still awakw I may post but consider us both out for the next while.

Sorry. RL interferes with Fantasy again

What's the plan?

OOC: Drive up to the gate or approach on foot? You are about 200-300 feet away and about to turn a corner that will reveal you if there are any guards in the dark gatehouses. There are visual aids in the Q&A. Daylight will break in about an hour.
So, any Ideas? I vote we send Brutal across the bridge to check things out. He's the scariest guy we have, so that should work well.

well

If you plan to bluff again, drive up.

If you think they don't post guards here because they had them up the road, drive up.

If you want to be sneaky and find out what is going on, do the reconn - go on foot.

Or pull up to the gates and say "Hi! We are here for the audtions!" and start breakdancing.

Auditions?

I like that, do you think we'll hear tap dancing and someone singing "Putting on the Ritz"? Are there big "knockers" on the castle door?

Plans

Well, the private's first thought is that privates don't make the plans. So Corban will follow orders. However, in true sniper style he would typically pull over and use the scope to scout things out quietly before driving or walking up. But he would also prefer to approach while it was dark wasn't the sun comingup in an hour?

If the group doesn't want the sniper to spy, I would vote for driving up. Walking up just "looks wrong." At that point there is no chance of bluffing, and considering the bridge and castle walls - very little chance of going in unseen. So if we assume we are to be seen, having a chance to bluff it might be best. But we better have a pre-approved plan on how to react to guards at the gate house or at the castle entrance.

Brave and the Bold......

I like that, the scope could scan the castle wall windows too.
We have to get in before we can escape. If the grade posts seem clear I say we drive in, Nellie Bell has done good by us so far.

Here

Here. The sniper would just really like the higher ranking characters to comment on his suggestion before he takes charge.
