hehe

You can't really blame Luke's reaction to the situation, can you? He sees the Doc asking for water, Brutal saying he won't get some. I tried to let him fix things up a bit by asking Brutal to get the water, and implying that the Doc maybe missed things outside.

He isn't taking sides... he's just trying to work with a bunch of people who seem set out to dislike/distrust each other.

of course not...

I don't blame the Captain or think he is taking sides, but Brutal does.

While he 'might' be a bit hot headed at times, he knows that having a medical around is a good thing. Right now he is praying he don't get hurt and need Doc's services. Could be a bit awkward.

Waiting until they start killing Kruats......

Now, now, would Doc take advantage of poor widdle Bruty when he injured.

Beside every group needs a psycho, just need to keep him pointed at the enemy, lol.

This will continue to ebb and tide.

The movie moment after they get back from this could be the bar scene where they beat the piss out of each other as they keep drinking and fighting until they pass out.

Oh and Van, Doc just cast "Heal Light Wounds". lol.

Plot points?

So with all this player tension are we building up extra "plot points"? I've a feeling they may come in handy soon.

contents of a dead man's place

Your actions has not really lead to searching yet but I will assume that eventually you will search the cabin, body and car.

Searching through the cabin finds a number of items that might be of use:

One SS dress uniform
One SS field uniform
Two black overcoats, leather
Numerous civilian clothing items (Shirts, pants, socks, undies, etc)
Numerous large knives, cleavers and bonesaws.
One luger with one full clip (8 rds)
One MP40 (Schmeisser) with three full clips (32)
One Gewehr 98 rifle (old -1898, but well cared for, holds five rounds) with 100 rounds in box
One hunting crossbow with 8 quarrels (one in major)

On Dead Major:
One blood stained uniform
One luger with a full clip
Wallet ($100 RM, some ID)
Keys to car, briefcase and cabin

Car:
One briefcase locked, paperwork inside and two spare clips for Lugar

Always have Paris

“I really hope you are on our side, lady. For your own sake as much as ours. You can explain yourself further on the way.”

You know, I can almost hear Bogart saying that line.

Aren't we short one disguise?

If i checked your post of what was found in the car and cabin we seem to be short one male disguise. Two uniforms and two leather overcoats, Gestapo style. Now the last time I counted there are five of us.

Ok team, here's a "what if", Suppose your story is that you were ambushed by couple of allied commandos from the downed plane, they were hiding in the cabin, one shot the officer with a crossbow, the other was a medic, who you roughed up (Brutal, here's your big chance) but put him to caring for the officer. Doc can pull out his arm band and be your prisoner. I realize he will also be a prisoner at the castle, but they may need a medic too. Maybe he'll still be covered by the Geneva Convention and not killed right off the bat.

Let me know what you think or did I miss a disguise and should take this in a different direction.

Are we stuff the car trunk our weapons?

I like it...

.. sounds like a good plan.. especially the part with Brutal 'roughing up' the Doc... have to make it look convincing

But you are right I think.. not counting the bloodstained Major's uniform there are only 4 other uniforms...hmm.. lets see what the officers think.

Maybe you should bring it up in character.. someone has to eventually.. and Brutal is already getting the car.

well

To make it really convincing, Doc could claim to be German, take the dead guy's uniform, and we could ask Brutal to shoot him with the lady's crossbow.

Just kidding.

I like the plan. But I hope it won't take Doc out of the game, or separate the team. I'm sure these Nazis don't care about the Geneva Convention.

Ok a Detailed Plan needed

Ok if we go by Van's plan we continue to keep the German Major "alive" but wounded, ok no prob.

However my question then is, do I still dress up as a German officer or what?. With Brutal the Driver, Doc the captured Doc working on the Major, and the rest dressed as German troopers where do I fit in if not in officer grab. Remember other then Vanadia I'm the only one that speaks German should we not take advantage of that??

Don't split the party.............

I realize a main rule is "do not split the party", but we may not have a lot choice if we rush to the castle. The officer is dead as doornail but Van's ideas is more the "look" of an attempt to get him better care but the bugger expired in the car before we got there, thus getting us in the castle. Also if the soldiers at the castle were exposed to that glow they may need a healthy medical person to treat them and Doc is bond to treat all. Captured or not it is expected of a medic to treat the wounded of both sides. My guess is the the ones in charge are "Lawful Evil" and would want to exploit having another medical person. Even if just to treat them. This could be a wild plot twist. Doc may be able to get in places other can't go, recon is good. It might even open up more dialog in english, the castle officers may not want the regular soldiers hearing all the gory details but this group of "specialist" lead by Van, could help control what ever is going wrong. A good way to allow Tan to be bilingual. The rest then fake understanding German and speak english with a bad german accent.

I'll post the suggestion to the captain in character and give Doc's view of up coming events.

But I really hate to give up my pistols.

well

I don't see why they wouldn't guess we're not German if they start ordering us around after we're in. We need to get inside the perimeter with a ruse; after that it's a different story.

So, let's take this one step at a time, and focus on getting close to the Castle. We might be able to fake and bluff our way about when we're inside, but the wounded soldier, English captive medic is not something I would recommend to keep up. I'm too afraid they might shoot Doc on sight, or torture him for intel.

We'll go with your idea, Ody, but once we pass the last guard post (assuming there are any), we take a second guess. Is that ok?

singing "Bluff, Bluff, the stupid nazis!"

I love the work together on the plan.
