Elves and Mustard

So Shaun is pestering me to put a mustard stain on Aranion's clothing in the comic, saying that all elves love mustard. um, WTF.

well...

If you check the PHB elven race in their biography, it says they do love things of extragavant flavors, and obviously the spices they had in those times were limited so mustard was relished (pun intended) as a prize spice, because of its extreme bitter/spicyness. Also, if you check the FR campaign setting they have an excerpt on elven culture and how "exotic" human spices and lifestyles have impacted their lives, and that the elves love to dine on all things of all styles, and spices like pepper, oregano, and yes mustard were included.

Or, it could just be a really funny pun of sorts and I bs'd all that. if you even believed me for a minute my job here is done. * walks off*

I am not sure on whether to applaud you or smite you on that. So funny it deserves an applaud. But a smite bc i slightly dislike you now for making me believe that... ah hell im gonna applaud you on perspective for that one.

I think mustard would actually go better on orcs or goblins or somesuch. Elves would be better with a nice Bearnaise...

Yummy yummy elves

Now granted there is nothing i like better than slathering mustard on a nice fresh elfdog before i have my dragon eat it. (helps them with their spicy breath) But I seriously doubt they would get muc hmustard at the time and elves eat to maticulously to get it upon them. Hell Legolas didn't even get beer on him/her when facing Gimli and dwarves get stuff over everything. When you can not spill beer on yourself or have other people not spill stuff on you when you are drunk then there is no doubt that He would not get the mustard on himself therefore unless like someone said you had them face a mustard monster i do not believe that there would be any reason to have mustard on an elf.

That is my bit of running nothingness for the day.

P.S. No one smite me for the LOTR referrence please.

(Too late)

Heinze's 57

I was going to say that Dragons are known for putting ketchup on Paladins, but the last thread I got into about ketchup....
well never mind! I don't relish the idea of another smitting.

(Again, too late. Smiting every bad pun in this thread)
