New to the Site

Hello everybody

I would just like to say that I'm new to the forum although I have been reading the web for a wile now. I must say that I'm very impressed with it. Because unlike other DnD web comics that I have read this one focuses more on the people playing the game instead of the characters themselves. That is actually what motivated me to read the comic since the begging. Specially since I am a D.M myself and I know what is like to start late because of a player.

Some of the comics I enjoyed range from Alacrity and Bromern, to Ray. I specially liked the comic strip #29 "Only the Wind...". I tough it was genius how Steve messed with his players using only logic and something common instead of magic.

Well that is all I have to say. Thanks for reading.

It crossed my mind...

...but we've got that PG/PG-13 rating thing we have to consider, you know?

Your kind words.

Thank you for your kind words fellow adventurers. I hope that in our travels together we learn much from each other. I would also like to thank you for those kind words, they are very heartening to the soul.

Also, there is something I have to confess. I am not familiar with the lingo you guys use here in the forum. So if I seem a little lost it's because of that.

Finally, Since there are writers and creators of some of the comics here, I would like to thank you making such a great comic. All the characters feel real as well as the interaction between them. In short, the comic is awesome.

No worries...

...hang around long enough and you'll be 100% fluent in Innspeak before you know it. No need to spend skill points on Speak Language or anything.

Huh?

"Do we really speak in Inn talk all that much. Hmmm, I think it is a insidious worm in our language circuits. A plot for sure.

LOL

Entirely possible, Bri...

I get that whole "I love your accent! Where are you from?" thing, quite a bit... and I usually go; "What accent?"

Could be that us Innmates have a dialect/lingo/lexicon all our own and, aside from others commenting on it here and there, we don't even realize it... *shrugs*... stranger things have happened...

But... that's just my opinion... I could be wrong.
