Help

I have hand drawn a map to use in my D&D campaign. However, I want to import it into my computer for a few edits and to clean it up a lil bit. Does anybody know of a free program that would let me create/edit maps?

Thanks y'all.

Maps?

Most times, I've simply used Photoshop or some other graphics suite/program to create or edit maps, myself. If you're leaning in that direction and want something "worth while" on the cheap (that is to say "free"), I'd recommend the GIMP... free, open-source, image editing... with a few plug ins and a bit of practice, you can make this thing do everything that Photoshop can, I think.

Now, as for actual map making software, there is a program out there called Campaign Cartographer... not free but definitely a very cool product... if I had need of such things more often, I'd definitely invest, myself.

Whoops!

Eol your link goes nowhere.

I get taken to a page on RDI that announces "You've wandered from the path."

Oh, look--there's Jeremy from "Yellow Submarine."

got a scanner?

I once took the map from my son's dnd starter kit and folded it so it showed only one 8X11 panel at a time and scanned each one (16 in all front and back) then assembled them in paint like a puzzle.
