Got the itch, the desire, and the time for a game..

As a couple of the games I was interested in have fizzled due to their Gm's unfortunate bout with that every increasing CR foe known as Reality, I find myself with more creativity yearning to be put forth than my one game satiates.

I'm well versed in D&D editions 2-3.5, and prefer games that have great depth of character and growth allowing for detail and progression not only in statistics, but in personality and character depth as well. I've got over 15 years of rp experience and over 10 years on this site lol I'm sure I've still got games and posts smattered about..

Anyways, from horror to modern, classic to even an attempted sci-fi foray I've played em all, and just feel the desire to cut loose and get my game on some more as it were.

That being said, as Gm's interview and select players for their adventures, I'm selective myself about games I intend to put time and energy towards as my characters are each a breath of life with a portion of my heart and soul affixed to them, so both sides can understand not wanting a half hearted effort made only to fizzle within the first month.

Sooo if anyone has any pet projects or are looking for an experienced player with a penchant for detail let me know!

If wished...

... in Footprints I can always have you, at the moment we have 3 PCs and 2 party members run by me: one of these two NPCs can be easily removed to make way for you, because any more than 5 would be too many.

As you wish, sirrah ^^

I second that suggestion.

Most whole heartedly; I have read some of your rps Kaelyn and would welcome your participation in our game: Footprints.

I hope that you will read and consider it.

Thank you!

You've got me thinking....

I share your sentiment in longing for a new game my friend and as I haven't gotten any response so far in the thread I started in Comings and Goings and saw that there is little response here as well (not to mention its pretty dry in general in the recruitment threads), the wheels began to turn.

I have had a game that I've dreamt of running for a long time now. Twice I've tried to start it, once on here and once on tabletop, and both times fickle players and RL issues were it's bane, bringing it into stagnation. But I know that you are a dedicated player and if we could get a couple more, equally dedicated to putting the time and effort into making a game worth both playing and reading that would have a real lifespan, I would be willing to truly give it a shot.

The game is based on a slightly modified version of 3.0E D&D. The changes I've made to the system I've made with the hopes of grounding it closer to reality and putting the spotlight on the characters as real, honest living beings that develop and grow. It certainly would not be a hack and slash but the plot is pretty exciting and epic. The whole idea came out of the idea of a game where the characters truly come alive and we watch them grow and change together. I would expect no more than one post a week, but I would expect time and care to go into the constructing of that post. I want the game to read almost like a novella or a serial we've all written together.

I know we've played together but in case you do want references, any of the games that I was once in before a crapload of serious RL issues drew me away from this site without warning a year ago should show that I put a lot of work into both my posts and my characters. I would love to game with you again and the chance to finally start this game and see it truly come to fruition is very exciting for me. The rule system is my baby and coordinates with a dream I've had for a long time of playing in a game that truly dedicates itself to the natural and realistic growth of its characters in an epic story. If you are interested I would be delighted and honoured and will open up a recruitment thread in hopes of grabbing a couple more players.
