Update

Ok, we're still in combat rounds. This means we're doing everything in 3-second blocks of time. For the sake of those tracking the time table we're in the third round of combat.

Guardian, you've fired four rounds from the Armalite.

Firewind, quite the struggle, but you're now down one dose of Sedative, and you've earned 1 IP in Jiujutsu.

Spiff, you've sustained a light wound to the right leg. It hurts like hell, but you're able to function. It is a flesh wound right now, but those bleed bad, so you'd be good to get some medical attention soon. You've also earned 1 IP in handgun and fired 7 rounds from you Mark II.

Peacekeeper, you've sustained a light wound to the left leg. Just like Spiff, it hurts pretty bad and is bleeding profusely, but you're still ambulatory. You earned 1 IP in handgun and have fired five rounds.

In the street, Preacher is halfway across the distance from the tree to the Hole. Bullseye and the van haven't appeared yet. Preacher earned 1 IP in Awareness/Notice for his awesome work on determining if there were any dangers in their approach.

You are definitely not out of hot water yet, but there was a lull in the firefight so I am letting you guys post change of plans, responses to the action, thoughts, etc. You've got about thirty seconds (ten combat rounds) before you'll see more gangers inside. That's about the time that Bullseye will pull up in front of the Hole. He'll keep the engine running and watch for anyone making a break for it. Good luck Choombas.

Tann...

Are we waiting for Preacher to cross the street (and the van to pull up) before we bust through the door are rain down some punishment?

Yep

yeah I am gonna do a "while Preacher crosses the Street" post tonight or most likely tommorrow but if Brom wants to take us past that point its ok by me.

I would rather like to have you and Preacher cover me as I go into the Hole first.

How about we just...

shoot some lead into the building blind like through the door (if possible), than Coyote busts in and yells, "Everyone! Get the frack down on the floor before I paint the walls with your brain matter!"

Thirty seconds is, like, 10 combat rounds... I'm thinking we can squeeze off a good deal of lead in 10 rounds! ;-)

We could

But Blammm the problem here is that we are not sure where exactly Spiff, Peacekeeper and Firewind are in the building.
If we go in randomly shooting we could hit them and not the bad guys and that would not be a good thing.

Also on that note Brom you do know that Greenleaf has for the moment left the Inn leaving all his characters playerless.
And I may have found a replacement for Peacekeeper but its your call as DA is still in a state of flux so to speak but I have started looking to replace her in Tril also.

If not shooting blindly...

How about busting through the door and pressing the gangers in on both sides.

I think we could shoot blindly atleast for one to two rounds without META gaming. We heard shots from the roof and upper levels of the building. Nothing on the main floor.... which leads Coyote to belief there's no danger in hitting our comrades if we bust in blazing.

True again

But WE DO NOT KNOW THAT 100% and Croaker will not go for that as the love of his life is inside.
So we need to bust in, do a fast eye recon, then let go with both barrels open wide.
Until Croaker knows for sure where Peacekeeper is he WILL NOT go in blasting and will stop you and Preacher from also doing so.

To forstall any further questions on the matter.

Merry Deth is the one on the couch furthest to the north. DigitalScribe is seeing the room beyond through the open door to the office area.

Yes, my descriptions got a bit turned around in the previous posts of the Suite's layout. I apologize for this. I didn't have a map for the post creations so I was running off of memory, and there was a great deal of time passing between posts... I'm old, forgive my bad memory. My bad... I don't think it should effect anything though.

There is no elevator to the Suite.

Ok Yet a Question

Where are Coyote, Preacher and myself in relation to the Hole's rear door. Can we see it and what is it made out of and what is the distance to it.
I hope we can bust through it without having to blow it inwards with a Gren.
As I am at work and sneaking online () I will post later tonight.

OK, cool

So wait, can Spiff see the fire escape from his location? If he can, it will certainly speed up his actions, but he won't exactly be 'looking' for digital scribe, he's looking for a fire escape, as you know has been his plan to get out of here for quite some time now.

The rear door and more.

The rear door to the building has yet to be discovered. Croaker, Coyote, and Preacher are on the southeast corner. The main doors are on the east side, about midway. If the trio hoofs it around the west side they are going to find a back door, but it is set in a recess and retreats into the ground about five feet. It looks to be more of a utility access than an entrance to the building and is padlocked, made of steel (a firedoor), and rust-marked. The bottom of the stairwell will be filled with about an inch and a half of water floating all sorts of crap.

Croaker, you need two Interface Plugs in order to link up two guns and you only have one. Besides which, to fight with two weapons is a -3 penalty for each hand.

Spiff can see that there's a door leading into what appears to be a comfy office and there are windows there, but he cannot see a fire escape, per se.

Ok Then

I will go ahead and delete my post and post a new one based on the above Info after work tonight thanks Brom.

Question: can the three of us see anyway to enter the Hole other then the front door or this padlocked steel door.
Perhaps a low Window, the fire escape leading to an upper door or something.
