Another late night...

OK, so I find myself enduring another late night that won't allow me to post a continuance to this game. I apologize, but assure you that the post will happen no later than this weekend.

Post in place.

In answer to your question Tann:

Croaker carries:
- Armalite 44 Heavy Pistol (Box 46 12mm rounds)
- H&K MPK-11 (3 magazines of AP rounds)
- M-205 Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (attached to the MPK; 2 concussion grenades)
- Constitution Arms MAP Very Heavy Pistol (3 cylinders, AP rounds)
- Gerber Mark III double bladed combat knife

Bull's Eye carries:
- Constitution Hurricane Shotgun (saddledrum magazine: now anyway since Croaker handed it off to him).
- Llama Comanche Revolver (45 .44 DP rounds)

Firewind carries:
- Baretta M20-F Heavy Pistol (100 DP .454 rounds)

Croaker would know that Peacekeeper carries:
- .44 Automag Very Heavy Pistol
- H&K MPK-11 (3 magazines of AP rounds)
- M-205 Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (attached to the MPK; 3 concussion grenades)

You don't have any idea what MDK carries.

-------------------------------------------------
OK, so there's been some real helpful skill-use in a life or death situation. As such, IP are in order:

Raven, Guardian is definitely earning his pay, and living up to his name. He has earned 1 IP in Combat Sense and 1 IP in Fencing. Unfortunately, he also used up 5 LUCK. His luck will replenish at the rate of 1 point/your posts.

I look forward to where this is taking you all, and to see your reactive posts. Sui, you'll need to get a bit more descriptive of how you're going to spend your time.

Freeway, sorry for the continued delay. Things just aren't getting to your introduction as soon as I'd have liked. We can chat about a different intro if you'd like...

Streetdeal

I don't know what it means or how it's done, but that was my intent. I'll be trying to get that rifle.

By using that phone?

You'd stated that he was in need of cash, and getting a new phone, plus Reverend was going to get one and call you.

Streetdeal is basically calling and visiting a plethora of contacts pertaining to the item in question (contacts not on the list as they aren't necessarily regulars, or on the payroll). It is also how well you pull off the deal.

You'll need to post your actions.

Posts everyone?

So...um...posts?

OCC: Ok Brom the above post is more recap then anything as I need an answer to my question, as Bulls Eye parked the SUV. I pretty much know his answer so will be working on a post towards that end. But hey ya never know I could be wrong....NOT .
Tann, the RV is on the shoulder of the dirt road leading in. It is definitely in view. There wasn't much in the way of stable, flat terrain to maneuver within.

Update...

OK, SUI NICE GOING!!!

I ran into some impressive numbers for Spiff on this run. You ate the arms dealer for breakfast, my friend. I don't think I've seen a comparable roll in years. Unfortunately, you used four of your luck points (earned back at a rate of one per your posts). However, you also earned an IP in Streetdeal, so good job. I did take some liberties in order to get past the deal, so let me know if there's something you want to change.

YeOld, that was freakin' cinematic. Unfortunately, your hide rolls were beaten, but the results were favorable all things considered. The situation being that only one of those boys are dead, but the fight is definitely over. Your actions in the next few seconds can change that dramatically, but I thought I'd point that out to you.

It is official: I've taken Peacekeeper over as an NPC again. Sorry Flirt, but I expect my players to be active. This far into the game I'm not recruiting for replacements.

Sorry Tann, but I thought I'd put a momentary stall on you guys rushing out as it occurred to me that I hadn't informed you of the distances and timeframes available to react. So, now you have it.

Raven, still waiting on a post from you!

Geez Brom why you gotta make things so tough LOL

Ok some RV's here in Texas have both a side door and a smaller rear one does this RV have such. Also I have to ask how deep is this decline in front of the side door.??

OK as to my actions seeing as I am the only player with Bulls Eye/Firewind I figured I'd put them in summery here.

If there is a back door we head out that if not we go out the RV's window that faces away from the approaching car/truck. As I know from being in one that the main/biggest window is opposite the side door which is facing the headlights we go out that and try to put some distance between us and to find some cover. If the people headed towards us turn out to be sec we open fire no hesitation or talking to them.

If they are unarmed employees (unlikely) we capture and hold. After that depending upon what happens I will post further actions. Let me know if you need more info as to what I have posted here and my last ingame post.

WOOT!

Huzzah! One night and a 1700Eb rifle (plus cab fare).

It went about as well as can be expected there Brom, but I will be adding to the convo in my next post (not the middle, just the last statement made).

I have 2 questions. First and foremost, how are my finances (estimating in the current cab fare and cost for a ride back to the motel). PLEASE PM THAT! Second, was I able to obtain that keyboard for Preacher before leaving the motel?

sorry dude, but I can't help you there

Tann, I wish I could have told you this before, but the second you guys decided on that bus, your fate was sealed. TBH, I have little faith in you surviving this mis-adventure.

Don't get me wrong; I hope you do, but I just do not see it happening. Still, the sniper rifle was to be given to guardian, who would then cover you all from this massive forest that is the Biotechnica facility. I remembered that from the map, that's how I knew it'd be useful. There aren't generally tons of guards on the inside, it's getting through the outer-defenses that are the problem. That's why the rifle is useful.

Guards on the inside actually slow down production, so no one does it. Still, your choice to go there unprepared may have screwed me over bigtime. Now they'll be ready for us.

Boy ain't you a

Barrel of positive energy..NOT!! I guess we will know soon enough huh.

And yeah in that function the rifle could be useful but I believe Croaker is the better shot according to Brom.
Well lets hope my 3 survive.

Grade "A" action movie...

That was a great battle there Brom. Praise be to the combat roll gods... of course the hiding gods arent paying me too much attention but the MDK is sort of big to hide...

I have posted... these sections are conditional of course, if at any time he runs out of time just cut it off there.

If I need to edit something because you see something I did wrong, or if something is unclear, let me know.

Now to go and make another sacrifice to the combat roll gods..

and...

third question I figured out.

Based on the size of the gun (and the decent likelyhood that it can't be fit into a normal sized briefcase) I am asking if I think it would fit (obviously the ammo would if the gun did) into a standard trombone case. I don't have a case for this weapon, and I don't want to walk around with it in the open.

Just caught something

I was re-reading and saw this.

"It is equipped with a silencer, flash suppressor, and"

I am hoping against all hope that this is some new super-CyberPunk technology.

Unfortunately, it is more likely that my character was simply being scheistered since he knows jack about guns.

Me, on the other hand. I know a lot about guns. Those two things don't work in unison in today's world. They have to go in the same slot on the gun, and cannot be 'stacked'.
