let me try

Well I read the article and it said that Nergal rules over the Babylonian Hell. So I looked and sure enough Hell links to Nergal. Now I just gotta find a way to Hell lol

Ok starting with Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues, a former minor leage women's soccer team in New Jersey - they have articles about everything...

1. United States (click on the flag)
2. Evangelicalism
3. Salvation (in the box on the right)
4. Hell
5. Nergel

Lets try Poodle

on it

Okay my random article was DC Comics Presents.

From there this is what I did:

1. Rex the Wonder Dog
2. German Shepherd Dog
3. Dog
4. Poodle

Let's try... Instant Noodles

Noodles!

From poodles to oodles of noodles from moogles!

Instant Noodles it is! Random Article brings me to...Ah.

"Joy Davidman"

An American poet and writer. Well...let's see what I can do with this. Great game, by the way, Admiral (the scavenger hunt, that is).

Wow, before I actually start the game, the article itself fascinated me. A child prodigy, a radical Communist as well as an Athiest, but later converted to Christianity, and ended up marrying C. S. Lewis. Somewhat surreal. Anyway, onto the scavenger hunt.

1. New York City
2. Cuisine of New York City
3. Fried Noodles
4. Noodle
5. INSTANT NOODLES

Well, it was straightforward, but a longer chain than I'd expected to get to, specifically, "Instant Noodles".

Anyway, since my previous one was too easy, how about something completely different:

"Apollo Lunar Module"
Good luck!

glad you like it!

OK Apollo.

Starting with: Ramesh Mehta, an Indian playwrite/director from the 50s and 60s.

1. Shimla, an Indian city that happens to have a sister city in the USA.

2. USA

3. Apollo 11

4. APOLLO LUNAR MODULE (in the box on the right - the link only says lunar module)

OK next up is MARS. In fact you can do the planet or the god.

Here we go again...

Well, let's see if we can start this up again, eh? It's original, interesting and fun, frankly.

Charcoal, hm? Sounds reasonable, and Random Article has thrown me...

Er...I'm not sure anymore. But we'll see with what I can do. I was given "Sorenanet", a two-sentence article about an Iranian Internet Service Provider.

1. Iran
2. Bronze Age
3. CHARCOAL

Hooray! I have to say, I may have made it in three steps, but it took me quite a few tries. I tried going through Persian Art, hoping to get to "charcoal" as a writing implement, and failed. I tried to get to "fuels" or "wood" so I could get to Charcoal as a fuel supply. I tried to go through writing and implements used to do so...

Until I realized how convinient the Bronze Age was. Well, I got there in the end.

I think, next, something that shouldn't be too difficult:

"Oak". As in the tree, of course.

>.> I'll play some more

Not as bad as my last one.

Random Article was '1667 in literature'

It is a directory page regarding various events, people, and works; linking to many other.

From there:

1)Abraham Cowley (an English Poet)
2)Scotland
3) Flora of Scotland
4)Oak

There very well could have been an easier route, but that is what I found. Worked much better that my attempts to route it via Charles II and Shakespeare...

Anyway, on to the next item...

How about another 'easy' one: Trout, as in the fish

g'luck folks

M'kay... let's see if I've got this...

The 'random article' I started from was Hugh Pugh (fictional character)... "Hugh Pugh is a news reporter for the fictitious Look Out Wales reports featured on comedy sketch show Barry Welsh is Coming. He is played by Welsh comedian, John Sparkes, and his name is a parody of Welsh names in general."

From there I went as follows:

1) Fishguard (a coastal town in SW Wales from which Hugh Pugh reports, apparently)

2) Herring (linked in the section re: Fishguard's Economy, referencing a herring fishery)

3) Trout (from the 'table' at the bottom of the herring article listing "Principal commerical fishery species groups")

Not too bad, I guess... From Hugh Pugh to Trout in 3 clicks... *shrugs*

How about we try "roe" next?

1. American Shad
2. Virginia
3. Newport News, Virginia
4. Isle of Wight County
5. Carrollton Virginia!

nitpick

lol I think Jozan1 did his backwards. Aren't you supposed to START from a random article (in this case Carrollton, Virginia) and click your way to the goal set by the previous player (in this case "roe")?

Cool that you got it either way.

Okay... I think I can do that

Random article = Ahu Tuğba (a Turkish actress...)

1) Canada (Ahu Tugba attended Concordia University)
2) Music of Canada
3) Neil Young
4) Ballad

Let's try "saber" (or 'sabre' if you prefer) for the next one.

1. Florida
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3. Sabre

Next:
Kitty, or Cat if you prefer.

How about Spirit? Of the soul, ghost, etc. variety.
NOT spirits as in drinks

G'luck!

EDIT: Holy Spirit works for me.
