Roughly what level (or XP) are you thinking this game will play at? It will probably be easier for your players to develop a concept if they have an idea of what level they will be playing. (i.e. are they 1st level apprentices? 3rd level novices? 6th level experts? 10th level masters?

What are you thinking?

I agree with Ayrn an idea of a starting point would be nice. As well as alignment, if you have a preference. It works well with the backstory.

So if you'll have me (2ed sounds wonderful and allows me to use these books on my desk ) I'll roll up stats so I can determine a class, but I may go cleric.

Also what is your stance on kits? For example, Barbarians and Cavaliers are fighter/warrior kits in the complete fighter book.

As for the Zombie game... I dearly loved that game. I wonder if I could get the interest to pick it back up?

Good or neutral aligned only, unless you can give me a superb reason otherwise (you probably cannot). I like to run games of heroes, or at least of normal people trying heroic feats... I'm no much for PCs stabbing one another, stealing from one another,and the like.

No need to email results to me. If you wish to roll your own stats you may do so on the honor system. Note that if I feel a character is too powerful (or, less likely, not powerful enough), I reserve the right to adjust as I see fit.

I'm thinking a low level adventure... maybe level two or three.

Kits? I will approve on a case by case basis. I like goos storytelling, I don't like people trying to "win" with over the top kits.

If playing a cleric or similar, please note that this WILL be an Audalis game - pick an appropriate deity, please.

If youare interested in paying, note that you do NOT need to know 2e. Come up with a character concept, and I will help you with the statting. Note that 2e is a vastly simpler system in many respects (no feats, no at will powers, etc), and well suited to forum play.

There is no deadline yet. I'll be out of town the first week of August, so I can't see starting before then.

I have received a couple of solid character concepts so far... but only from one person. If you have an idea, please PM me.

I have received intriguing responses specifically for cleric and rogue. I'm not saying that you someone else couldn't fill these spots, but I am leaning towards the concepts already sent to me.

I have updated the first post in the thread with the approved character concepts and players. We'll need muscle, for sure, as well as some arcane firepower.

If you have a concept, PM it to me.

I believe I'll throw my hat in here as well. Could you perhaps use a bard?

I'm unsure what the adventure concept is other than just basic save the day in Audalis so it makes it a tad difficult to craft any truly interesting character concept. But I will do my best to design one. If you do not need a bard or are already full let me know. If you do I'll begin work on character creation.

I know little of Audilas (outside of LD)so I'll have to try to make sense of the notes on here. I'm horrible with that kind of thing, I'm better when people tell me crap.

As for 2ed....well. I can try? If, like you said, I can just make up a character concept and you can help us nugamers along, I'm willing to try.
