Helloooooo

Hello everyone, this is my first stay at the Red Dragon and I look forward to many more. I play 3.5e, 4e, Pathfinder and anything else I can get my hands on (I once got my hands on a box of clay squares and by the gods I played it!)
Since I always seem to be the DM I thought I'd check this place out, maybe try some online games and get some tips on re-energizing my games.
Sooooo I think that's it...

A Big Welcome

Let me be the first of the Inn’s Staff member’s to welcome you to our site. As you hopefully have already seen there’s a lot to do here for sure so take your time and get comfortable with our site. There are a wide variety of AD&D rules sets in use here, even at one time a game run on the very first rules edition.. Basic .. Along with a number of varying game systems from Fantasy to the Sci-fi to the occult to plain horror there is always something for someone including even Free Form games here at the Inn.

The Inn has been around quite some time and for a great majority of us is a second home so please treat the Inn, its Staff and all it’s members with respect and we will treat you the same.

So again welcome its always nice to have new people come to us and I hope you’ll feel quite at home here.
And though this is the greeting I post to all newcomers do not feel that I am not glad to see a new person come to our home, far from it. Its just easier and quicker this way as we do get a lot of newcomers at times. So then If you have any questions about the site feel free to PM myself or any other Staff member as needed.

Also here’s a towel, always keep it handy as Eol, another of our Staff, likes to lick newcomers and he sometimes forgets who he has licked and then licks them again .

*Absent-mindedly wanders over*

Oh? Why hello there and welcome friend.
I hope you will enjoy your stay and find the inn a comfortable second home.

I see you have been properly equipped with towels, so I need not burden you with another. A few other notes while I am here:

>Feel free to ask about anything. We're a friendly bunch here.
>Look over the Pit F(r)iend's guide for Newbies (also in the Comings and Goings section) if you haven't already
>Do not feed the Grugg. It is simply something we'd rather you not risk.

If there is anything I've forgotten I am sure another innmate will be quick to add it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a bard to track down.... he must be here somewhere. See you around.

Hail

Hi and welcome to the inn.

It seems that everyone's been over the necessary admin with you (try to keep out of Gerald's Fridge too, it's not an experience either Tuned_Out or I would wish upon anyone else).

If you're looking for a game there are a few in need of revitalisation at the moment (I should know as I'm DMing 2 of them and playing in most of the rest) so check out that part of the forum if you've the mind.

Salutations, 4d2!!

Greetz and Well Met, my alphanumeric Newbie!

00101010010101110110000101100111011001110110100101110100011110010010000100101010 (I didn't think it'd be that long in binary! )

OOooh, I just discovered a box of California Raisins figurines from the 80's in the attic--let's make a cyberpunk game based on them! But really, it's awesome that you don't hold slavishly to one edition or genre. So long as there is fun to be had, there will always be a game!

And boy, IS there fun to be had at the Inn!! Whether it's being a player, a DM, an artist, a poet, a storyteller--you'll find something without hardly having to look!

Yes, we are both warm and fuzzy and we like to think of Red Dragon Inn not only as our digital home away from home, but also a pleasant corner of the Interwebz free from the rampant troll-ery so prevalent elsewhere. It may be a bit chaotic but we still like it clean. So, yeah like Tuned_Out said my sticky is ready to amuse and edumacate you as to how things work here, just read the one in the forums as I've made updates not in the archived version. Adventure Awaits, 4d2--get out there and grab some!

*smiles and waves*

Greetings, and welcome to our home.

We hope that you will enjoy your stay with us. We have a lot of friendly staff to answer any and all questions you may have. We do have a couple rules that need to be followed.

1) Do not feed Grugg!
2) Do not idle in the Dragonchat as Fred will devour you in a most painful way.
3) Vote for the Inn (it is found under GENERAL FORUMS - Common room - Vote for the Inn) the link is on the first page.
4) Most importantly have fun!

Welcome! May the dice roll in your favour

"Cheers.............."

Hello......... Thought I'd pop in here and add the Ody welcome.

I pop in the DragonChat and act as current resident bar tender. We offer our very own "Good Old Froth-n-Slosh", the stale pale ale with the foam on the bottom.
Just grab a mug off the mantel and draw a cold frosty one.

My assistant Igor is usually lurking around if I'm not there.

He never says anything, must have something to with having his tongue cut out by his last boss, that nasty bar tender over at the Orc Bar & Grill.
I'll have him put out a plate of "Lady Fingers" in your honor.

Reminds me we need to have another "Ladies Night" and restock.

Anyway the Posting Games are great place to get to know folks and of course the DragonChat is our favorite lounge.

So lurk or play, welcome to the Inn!

4d2?

Hmmm... I rolled a six... (or, I guess I should say I flipped a six since I don't think that 2 sided dice actually roll, do they? I mean, unless you put 'em on edge and roll 'em kind of like a tire, right? But that's just assuming that when you say "two sided dice" you're referring to coins of the roundish variety... I mean, what happens if you live in a country where the coins are square or triangular?)... So, yeah... I flipped a six... *nods* Does that mean you get six facelicks? *griiiiiiiins... ka-sproing, ka-pounce*

Welcome to the Inn, 4d2... be you either a coin or 'not the droid I'm looking for' matters very little... we hope to see you around for a long time to come.
