Pats

Yes well that is always the way to win any game, keep the offense, namely the QB, off the field.

Yes Grats to the Bills, shutting out the Redskins. Cant remember the last shutout I seen. Great Job defense.

Steelers did a wonderful job on Defense as well. That is why they are #2 in the AFC, The Pats are still #1

Let us not forget

The Lions are amazing this year. Grats to a wonderful Defense as well. If someone had said the Lions would be 6-2 in week 8, I would have thought they were crazy.

Wonders never cease!

Yeah

I never said the Pats Defense was #1, just they were the #1 team in the AFC right now. Their defense needs work, thank God for Brady.

RPN's Picks

Week 9 in the NFL (If you disagree with any of these tell me why you think so)

Buffalo over NY Jets (Close one but edge to the home team)

Seattle over Dallas (Sorry Tann, Romo just isn’t playing well right now)

Houston over Cleveland (While Cleveland is doing better, Houston has been on fire lately)

Atlanta over Indianapolis (No Peyton Manning, need I say more?)

Kansas City over Miami (Poor Miami, just not their turn yet)

New Orleans over Tampa Bay (Saints will be inching after the loss to St. Louis last week)

San Fran over Washington (49ers are on Fire)

Oakland over Denver (Tebow who?)

Cincinnati over Tenn (Cincinnati is on a roll)

New England over NY Giants (Pats Rule! They loss last week and I cant remember the last time they lost two in a row. Plus they are at home.)

Green Bay over San Diego (Aaron Rodgers. Enuf said)

Pittsburgh over Baltimore (This will be a close one. But advantage to the home team)

Philadelphia over Chicago (Chicago just cant seem to win for losing; Eagles are rolling from last week)

My upset special

St Louis over Arizona (Not much of an upset I know, but I think St. Louis will ride the high from last week and beat the Cardinals)

Week 9 in the NFL

Well, we have Noob's predictions, so here are mine...

Buffalo
Seattle
Cleveland, because Houston is hell. Sorry, Texans, but deep down...you know. You just know.
Indianapolis, because God may hate Peyton Manning, but he hates Miami more

Kansas City. Because, well, it's MIAMI.

New Orleans
Washington
Denver .. because really, it's OAKLAND. The only thing worse is Miami.

Tennessee... gotta give love to my state now

My deep abiding love for my boys tells me the Giants will go home unhappy.

San Diego. I just have a feeling.

Baltimore wants it more, and Pitts will be cocky after last weeks win.

Philadelphia

I hate the remaining teams too much to even mention.

Most wins

Well Tann, since you picked the same as me except for one game it all comes down to that between you and I.

We all know Romo is going to choke.

Well good luck!

Go Pats!!!

WOW some surpries this week

Ok well how about them Cowboys . Ok after tommorrow nights game add up your scores and we can see who had the most points for this week. Right now I am at a total of 7 points, 8 if Philly beats chi town.

For fun if anyone else wants to put thier picks in this thread along with RP Noop, Lady Dark, and myself feel free. Then starting from Thursday on through the last 8 weeks of this 2011 season, playoff's included, we will count up the correct picks and total them at the end of the season to see who was the most correct.

I think I may start this as an actual contest next year with some sort of prize hmmmmm got enough time to think on it for sure .

Bad week

Last week I had only 4 losses; this week not so much!

Tann is the winner already; you have 7 wins Tann, I have 6 and LD has only 3.

We all picked Phil over Chicago so it doesnt matter at this point.

Tann the winner this week.

Tann is the LEAD DOG! For now!

Like the idea of keeping a running total. See who wins at the end of the season.

Thursday Night Football

It's back baby!!!

Tonight San Diego Chargers (4-4) vs. Oakland Raiders (4-4) for the lead in the AFC West.

Should be a good game between two mediorce teams

I am torn here; I think the Chargers are going to win but my gut thinks it might be an upset. Hmmm.

But have to vote my brain not my gut.

Chargers for the Win!

Week 10

Oakland 24, San Diego 17

Well I am off to a great start 0-1; my brain lets me down again. Have to start trusting that gut.

Ok here are my remaining picks for this week:

Chicago over Detroit (They are at home and I think looking for a little revenge for that Monday night game a few weeks ago)

Atlanta over New Orleans (Saints have been a little too inconsistent)

Carolina over Tenn (Cam Newton time for his 3rd win)

Pittsburgh over Cinncinnati (Andy Dalton I don’t think is as good as Big Ben)

St. Louis over Cleveland (Cleveland is just terrible lately)

Dallas over Buffalo (Surprise!! Dallas is at home; so they might get luck and get 2 in a row )

Indianapolis over Jacksonville (It is time, and this is the best chance the Colts have this season.)

Denver over Kansas City (KC might pull this one off , but after last week’s embarrassment at the hands of Miami, I’m picking Denver)

Miami over Washington (Miami isn’t as bad as people think, but Washington is getting worse)

Philadelphia over Arizona (Philly has to win, they lose to Arizona and I think Andy Reids job is at stake here)

Houston over Tampa Bay (Tampa might get lucky, but I doubt it)

Baltimore over Seattle (It’s the best Defense in the NFL right now)

San Fran over NY Giants (49ers are just awesome this year, got everything working.)

New England over NY Jets (Well I have to pick my guys, even though the Jets probably have the advantage at home)

Green Bay over Minnesota (8-0 vs. 2-6)
