forumcraft. is it possible?

or rather, is it possible to have a forum survival game where the players shape their world.
i would think yes but it would be difficult because the 'dm' of said game would have to keep track of everything the players do.
(also i just won a battle against an army of flies {estimated kill count:38 flies and a annoying cricket} there may be more of those dam things hiding somewhere too) *sees a fly* " to battle!"

Hum

I *was* indeed thinking about a sort of survival game...

I could always run such a game. I'll think of some plot backstories and get back to ya.

heres a plot

a meteor that was carrying a dna altering bacterium crashed into the planet. the bacteria frozen in space were first thought to just be crystals that could have come from a destroyed planet, this is half correct for it had come from a nother planet which was (ironicly) was destroyed by a meteor. when scientist finally figured out what it was it was already too late, the dead rose frome their graves(not all of them were flesh/brain eating monsters though),animals of all kinds became creatures of legend (ie spiders and rats and all other sorts of tiny animals became large enough to bite of a mans head, and some squids turned into krackens as well as other such things),trees and plants mutated(creating such things a treents and "man-traps" which as the name implies are big enough to eat a person),and even changing the human beings into various different things(such as animal like qualities and things like dwarves or elves and other such things).there were those (humans animals and plants) who were immune to the bacteria however, meaning some of the planets origion species still existed (like humans for example). as expected panic ensued and most of the worlds civilizations (due to various reasons) were knocked back to a sort of stone age, the little bits of 'modern' civilization that still exist are closed off to anyone from the outside (and almost everyone in these places are humans who eather hate or fear everything that came out of the 'changing' as they refer to it).

hows that for a plot.
