Zombie Movies

So I was recently discussing zombie movies with my friends and thought maybe this lovely group of people would also enjoy the topic.

Also I was hoping maybe someone here would help me remember the name of one I watched a year or so ago... I believe it took place in England, or maybe Canada. At any rate it was a city with rivers because at one point two of the main characters are on a boat. The basic plot was that there was a medical company doing experiments that went wrong and people started to 'go bad' all but one, a girl. The company sends their hitman out to get her and bring her back as she obviously has an immunity to whatever they were shooting people up in. She is a young woman whose brother is a cop and if I recall correctly so was her husband/boyfriend, but he recently got out of jail due to a shooting on the job that went badly... and she's just found out she's pregnant... they end up holed up in a mechanic's garage for awhile and take on some other people, and in the end they are trying to reach a police helicopter pad where she is supposed to met her brother and get out of the infected city...

Anyone know what I'm talking about here?

Oh... and 28 Days Later is probably my favorite brains movie

Norwegian zombie movies

I've never heard of that movie—but it sounds like a perfect combination of all the best movies I've ever seen!

If you're in the mood for a less conventional and more Norwegian take on zombies, check out Dead Snow (originally Død snø). How is it unconventional? For one thing, it includes zombie nazis. It also portrays the dilemma of what to do when one's private parts are at risk of being zombified.

Dead Snow

I haven't seen that one yet, but I ran across it when trying to figure out the name of the other film. It is definatly on my 'need to watch this' list. Maybe I'll try to get it this weekend to tap off my Halloween scary movie marathon
