Your post said the mage was bringing a spell to mind but didn't cast it, so she is not protected. Grimm is the only one ready for combat besides Roger. The rest of you had time to post protective actions, but none of you did. Grimm has his sling ready to plunk the archer, but if his Initiative roll is not before the archer then Liriel may take an arrow. Liriel's AC is likely low without her spell so the chance is good she'll get hit.

It's too bad that when archer pulled his arrow, none of you got ready.

If I read the map correctly, the archer is 70 feet away (5 feet per square x 14 squares) and Liriel has partial cover from the wagon because the archer is standing on the ground behind the wagon with should put a minus to the attack role. If she has high dex may have a bonus against attack. So her odds could be getting better and if her intitive is before the archer she could duck and cast a spell (move action and attack action).

If Roger and Eadric charge they can close the gap and shield Liriel. Hmmm... I like that idea, what would Grimm Do?

Roger is very likely to charge, he can trample at least one of the badies and then go after the leader.

After the block Eadric could go right over those two and Roger go left of the wagon.

Thought I'd point out that I have a spear. It is no lance, but I'm a peasant boy so

Note I detailed gripping it tight; spears arent exactly a sheathed weapon, so I'm already holding it/equiped.

Scoundrels and their stealing and such. Although, I don't think anyone would part with that coin (although it was never confirmed that they have them). Those are pricy; if they don't have them, then as outsiders they are further breaking the law, which means that legally we'd be doing an even better service (maybe) to Drannon, despite our own origins.
