who's your favorite charicter that you made and played?

mine was a monk/ninja in 3.5 named drake blaze. he was kinda a jack of all trades if you will but, pulled strategiest position mostly. after several adventures he found several ways to quickly and effeciently increase his money 100 fold. he wound up owning about half a city and when he was epic he would were full flexy plate and had a belt that had eight unbreakable never ending chains he could command mentally. it was great becuse the armor made him weaker (lower ac) and when some one thought they had the upper hand he would remove the armor. the best part was he was consantly using tons of npc's to do what he wanted and wound up owning a flying island in the end.

Glum the Alaghi Chess Fanatic, who freaked into a berserk rage every time somebody would carry a whip. 2nd edition character that I played for a long time.
He fought with two two-handed swords, which is normally not possible. But because of his size and certain combat styles he was able to specialize that two weapon fighting technique. Unfortunately, when the time came for him to "master" fighting with 2 two-handed swords, there was nobody left to teach him anything of the technique that he didn't already know. That sucked...
He used to walk around with a little leprichaun in between his horns, a character that a friend of mine played. That was fun.

Character of the moment...

Whoa! Goood question, Nightbeast. There have been a lot of characters I've played that I really liked... not necessarily because they were the greatest characters, just that, for one reason or another, they were fun to play. My fave character at the moment, though, is probably Sam Dash in Alacrity's Firefly game, "Voyages of Rocinante". I find myself "stuck in his head" on occassion... not sure if that's bad for me or bad for Sam, though.

hmmm

Well, my namesake character Vesper Korugann was a fire sorcerer, and I like the concept so I tried to do a wizard of the same thing, which ended up being pretty fun.

He worshipped a fire goddess of chaos that we drew up for that exact purpose. Well, he ended up dying when he though he was invulnerable against fire when we were going up against an ancient red wyrm. Well, needles to say with its breath weapon and arsenal of spells, he was reduced to a pile of ashes, quite fun to play and wouldn't at all mind bringing back a second version of him.

My favorite characters always tend to have feats that allow them to smash everything, be it Weapon Focus and Power Attack trees or Two Weapon Fighting and Monkey Grip sorta thing.

And then there are some cheesy combinations which are fun if you feel like destroying everything.

Favorite Character

My favorite character actually happens to be the second character I ever played, back when you could still find Basic in the stores (about 11 years ago).

His name was Kor, a human cleric (there were no other kind in Basic) who had a very large scar and one eye.

STR: 12
INT: 9
WIS: 16
DEX: 13
CON: 10
CHA: 4 (<---- That's why the one eye and humongous scar.)

I got him to around level 6 I think, before he died. Before he did, however, He, 2 Magic-users, 2 Fighters, and a Halfling who we later nicknamed Medusa's Mirror, took down 2 excentric magic-users collecting all sorts of monsters. There were wights, wraiths, medusae, golems, lycanthropes, etc...You name any monster from 1-5th level, and it was there.

Well

I'm torn, for I have had a bunch of characters, but two I particularly liked (that I can think of at the moment).

1st one, Himo Tharivol, A human fighter, blind all his life, so he had blindsense (Mind you I played this guy in late elementary/early Junior High), wielded a greatsword and was one hell of a fighter. He faced off against a troll at too low a level, troll took a tree, whacked him, sending him flying, and he just got back up and felled the beast. Another fight was against the ant-like Ankheg (or whatever it's called), due to his blindsense he was able to tell where the insect was even when underground (had to be within 5-10 feet for him to know though). The insect burrowed up and clamped his helm with its pincers, lifting him off the ground, Himo simple ran it through with his greatsword and that was that.
Note that this guy rolled 18+ all the time on dice that never rolled 5+ on any other character (Replaced them as soon as I could)

I'll tell you guys about my second later, I got other posts to finish.

My Favourite Character

Well. This is as many before me have said, a complex question. If I am to assume you are talking about Dungeon and Dragon's characters, then the answer is simple. Three Point. He was a fae creature from the Monster Manual: Faerun. The creature is a Hybsus. It is pretty much a small sized Centaur. Now this guy was quite the character. His favourite weapon was the lance. which worked well with the skills of his class. His class was one of my classic creations... The Chaos Warrior (though I realize the name is not stunningly original, I made it while I was young)! In fact, his favourite saying was, "I am Three Point, the Chaos Warrior, and that makes me..." at this point, as a roleplaying must, I took a deep, loud breath and ran my hands from the bottom of my rib cage up to my forehead in a rather Goldust like fashion, if anyone remembers that wrestler, finishing with, "and that makes me... Dangerous!"

In any case, working with the improved two-handed weapon bonuses of the class, and adding additional damage on his charge, he was an extremely powerful character who was famous for his "bum rushes" as they were so poetically referred to as by my peers. Man he was a lot of fun. I will have to bring him to the inn one of these days.
