New Season of Walking Dead!

I will post no spoilers here, but I was amped for the new season of Walking Dead... and the first episode did not disappoint.

I know that we can't just have zombies all the time, but I hope that more of this season's episodes are like this one... as opposed to last season, where it felt like half the episonde run time went by without a single walker. Character development is both great and necessary, but if you don't have zombie tension, you might as well be watching a soap opera.

Good stuff, can't wait for the next episode. I'm hoping that Rick's action at the end of the episode worked...

Frzlnrfingxxxx!!!!

Unfortunately, I did away with cable/dish/direct tv several months ago (couldn't justify all that $$$ for 300 home shopping networks, 14 different ESPNs, and all that other crap just to keep my AMC...) soooo, yes, I missed the season 3 premiere.

On the plus side, iTunes offers a 'season pass' for 'The Walking Dead,' soooo, come payday, I'll get to catch up and keep on track thereafter.

Glad to hear that the season opener didn't disappoint, though.

Maybe ...

..... this new season will inspire Olan to resurrect his Zombies In Chicago game ?????

Managed to find a link online (not sure where lol) that hopefully showed all the Season Premiere (will wait until others have watched and Spoilers for the first episode are posted to find out for sure!)

I still have plenty of Season 2 episodes to watch on dvd in the meantime!

Season 3 should be better than last Season (which I thoroughly enjoyed) now that the main characters have been established from down on the farm!

...watched S3 E1 this morning on AMC.com. Might I say SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

No spoilers until everyone else is ready, of course, but I'll leave with this for now.... I would really like to know what happened over the winter.

Episode 2 in the bag...

...and episode 3 waiting on the end of my work day.

Gotta say that I'm loving this season, so far. Might even be enjoying it more than the first two seasons, if that's possible.

Intense!

That's all I'll say about Episode 2, right now, then...

...that and, "am I sick or is Carl actually kind of bad-a$$ this season?"

Episode 3.

Okay, without spoilers... I knew that was coming but that is NOT the way I was expecting it to happen!

Or, would I be better off summing up the episode in this one word: "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnn!!!"

That episode just shook everything up. Holy freaking cow.

Nice break from the snoozer that was last week.

Sorrow

Such a sad episode. If Rick knew what we knew, aka if you don't see them die, don't count them as dead, ( movies teach this lesson, cabin in the woods, fast five, princess bride. Haha. It's universally recognized genre truth) he could have prevented all of this.

P.s. how bad ass is Daryl!

A little late to the conversation but not the show...

I've been obessively keeping up with the show this season...

And last night was a bit rough... especially considering my current situation (only 8 months pregnant myself haha). But I handled it better than I thought I would. Like Eol I knew it was coming just not sure how.

Personally I'm really intrigued to see how everything with the Governer is going to work out. I found the plot line with him in the graphic novels to be really compelling, and as they aren't being fully true to those (which is okay as it keeps me guessing all the time) so seeing how it turns out here is going to be really interesting.

I'm also thrilled to have Michelle in the cast now, she's always been one of my favorite chars. Hot bad*** chick with a sword... I may be straight but still *swoon*
