PvP wars

Ok, so here is the story...
My group, with me as a player, not the GM, were playing a marginally evil, fringe based Star Wars game. At first, my character's plans seemed to be working out fine, then one of the other players becomes completely evil. After killing our only good NPC follower, my character tried to kill him once, but failed( the game then proceeded to split into two separate games). I realized that my character is actually better at planning things out then I am, so I would like to ask if any of you have a better idea then I have. So here is the situation:

My Character is a droid.
Advantages: Long range (sniper rifle), next to infinite money, some stealth, ability with tech, can pilot, and ability to make known droids and warships.

Weaknesses: Character is weak in close quarters, can not get support from local gov'ts, character is physically weak, and character is poor at communicating.

Enemy, a crazy Sith like dark jedi( I avoid calling him a sith as he is a lunatic)
Strength: Next to unstoppable at close range, army of loyal rabble, strong close quarters allies, extremely sneaking(can turn invisible and faze through walls), and he is ruthless.

Weaknesses: Inept with tech and can not pilot, no ranged ability, no common sense,

Ok, so here is what I am thinking: I will send a message as one of the Sith guy's sworn enemies, then fill the area with droids. In the room where the message states the guy will be, there will be small poisoned spikes on the ground, and some cheap mercenaries. So, if the Sith sneaks in, then he will be poisoned, and charged by an army of droids. If the Sith decides to blast it to rubble from space, my droid will commit his space forces to engage.

That is my plan, but I have already learned that my own plans are often below par. Can anyone think of a better plan? Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, yes I am the good guy. I didn't plan on it, but apparently my evil droid has a conscience.

jus tossin this out there...

As a droid, I assume you are a specific type, a type that there are more than one of? Perhaps commission the building and/or ordering of a similer model droid, modifying it to look identical to you, but that it has a large bomb inside it's chest. Then use that droid as bait while you post up with yer trusty sniper rifle, just in case the bastard is still twitching after the bomb goes off.

Death Star, anyone?

It sounds like your key tactic is range. If you are actually able to buy/build warships, don't be subtle... just aerial bombard the snot out of his little planet and be done with him.

Death Star comes to mind... but a fleet of star destroyers will do fine as well.

Ideas...

I do like the bomb idea, and I think I'll incorporate that into mine...
I do have a fleet of fighters and light transports and one heavy cruiser (almost like a light star destroyer). My plan was to use it if he brings in his own fleet. Unfortunatly, my character doesn't know where the crazy sith is, so I'll have to ambush him...

thanks guys!
