For the record

I play Sleep as when you attempt to tie up, or pick up, move an opponent they get a save vs spells to wake up.

Is it a sleep inducing record?

I say we still take our chances... with weapons ready in case they wake up. But we were going to do that last bit anyway.

Post..........

I'll try to get a post up tonight. Started one yesterday at work but lost it before I submitted.

If we are retracing our steps to see if the portals take us to the same place isn't our next room the weapon room?

ummm

Who has the rope? To tie up the Slaa'kar you would need some length of strong rope. I do not remember rope among the things you have taken. Booze, weapons, backpacks and disappearing food.

And you are correct in that no one in the party understands Slaa'kar.

:o0
Don't look at me I'm over a week behind on my posts.

It must have come from the ranger that told us to tie them up.

Could be their belts, do Lizard guys wear pants?

Curtain ties

We used the tapestry ties, yeah thats it. Hehe

So if no binding materials allowed I suppose we need to play it that they are being very closely guarded.

DOH!

Oh my god never thought of having no rope. Is there anything we could cut up to make stuff to tie them up? Extra clothing, any thing in the room?

Ninja............

I don't remember the Wine Ninja being dead, I thought he was just hurt.

So now we add insult to injury by stripping him to use his clothes for bindings?

We should heal the him and send him on his way.

Lizard guys often carry pouches with leather straps, we can use those, but we need to state we searched them. We can use their weapons belts and bow strings could be used too, if they have them.

Ninja dude is not alive to start

The Wine ninja (great name) is not alive in the first place. He is a construct. His body is made of wood and he is not anatomical correct either. The Slaa'ker have beaten him to the point of no longer functioning.

His clothes are a good alternative as they are made of high quality silk. You will need a knife to cut the seams but in the end it will serve as a good bond.

The Slaaker have very crude weapons and not bows. I will allow for them having at leather-like shoulder length bag that you can also use.

well

The text was: among the ruins of the booze and racks was the broken and beaten body of the man in black who had jumped you before but saved then bottle.

I took it that he was dead, and even if he is not I'm quite sure it's not that big of a deal that Gamard is taking some cloth from his shirt. Is it nice? Not really. But it's not as bad as you make it sound. Sometimes you need to do things in order to survive. What makes a difference is the attitude you have while doing it. I wrote that Gamard resents stripping the cloth, but that he sees no other option.

Also, don't forget time is of the essence, since a sleep spell doesn't last forever. Besides, taking something from the lizardmen will most likely result in Al rolling us another save.

Edit: Wrote this while Al posted his reply. Still keeping it up to show my reasoning.
